Recline in style at The Canadian Home Furnishings Market Salon
Grace Nursery Designs is well known for offering quality products with the whole family in mind.
Gliders and ottomans are carefully manufactured using premium materials such as high-density
foam and steel springs that extend a product’s life. Among the new items being unveiled at the
Toronto show this season are the Grace glider, inspired by the classical elements of the rocking
chair, but updated with a modern chic look. There’s also the Milo contemporary style glider, with
embedded cup holders in the arm rest for storing baby bottles; the Jasmin glider, with its sleek and
simple design, the Sweetheart glider, which features a comfortable headrest, and Sophia, a
children’s glider. And just when you thought you’d seen it all—gliding ottomans and storage
ottomans that harmonize any choice of glider.
Dutailier is ready for the Toronto show with great new products such as the gliding Grand Chair
from its Matrix Too collection, featuring a deeper, wider seat and high backrest for optimal comfort.
The Opus glider is big on style and includes an adjustable headrest and integrated lumbar cushion.
It’s a multi-purpose beauty that comes in three versions: glider, glider recliner and glider recliner
with integrated footrest, available in five wood finishes, 26 leathers and more than 125 fabrics. And
then there’s the Crescendo glider from the Comfort Recliner collection, which blends a square back
with rounded arms to create a unique look.
It’s with a renewed spirit of enthusiasm that Rodi Design will present 25 new motion furniture
models at the Toronto show this January, including a curvy sectional dressed in charcoal microfibre
with its integrated end recliner that creates an “L” shape. Plus, there’s a new sofa bed in white
Leathercast material, a transitional-style leather recliner with inspiring contours, and a wonderful
The frames and mechanisms used in Crinar gliders are recognized in the market for their
outstanding quality… and for making a success of the company. This year, Crinar will continue to
perfect its products by redesigning all of its collections. Seats, backrests, arms and footrests will
benefit from new coverings that are brighter, cleaner and offer present-day styling. In 2010, the
manufacturer will offer a fast delivery program in several colours and will bring leathers back to the
forefront of style—a timely move to enhance the look of its new gliders.
Jaymar presents its new 32843 series recliner, perfectly suited to smaller spaces. Sofas in this
collection feature a low back for space-saving appeal. By tilting the seat, the backrest rises to
provide the same comfort as a conventional high back. Presented at Market in pure white leather,
the collection is available in a wide variety of fabrics and leathers.
Recliner specialist El Ran will introduce several new products in January, including a versatile
sectional sofa from its Christopher collection, which boasts clean, pure lines, pillow top seating,
elegant simulated tufted back and bench-style seating at one end. It comes with optional power
dual reclining loveseat, loveseat with centre console, sofa with centre drawer, and fixed loveseat
