NATIONAL PACKAGING COVENANT - ANNUAL
              REPORT

     31st October, 2007 - 31st October, 2008
                                 Executive Summary

Red rooster became a signatory to the National Packaging Covenant in July, 2007
under the classification of a retailer and set out a commitment in achieving a reduction
in waste packaging through the 3 key areas of reduction, reusing and recycling.

Our intention in year 1 was to establish a baseline and focus on and implement any
immediate areas for improvement and plan out the longer term goals and actions for
the next 2 years.

We have already achieved some of the immediate short term goals as set out in our
action plan and made some exciting in-roads into our longer term goals. This is
explained and verified in further detail in the action plan update section of this
document.

Overall Red Rooster has had a successful year in relation to its objectives and is
committed to the gradual reduction of waste packaging through its stores and supply
chain.
                      Product / Packaging reduction summary
