IETC – Proposed Daily Movement Pattern Proposed Student Daily Movement Pattern The proposed student daily movement pattern at IETC provides/allows for all services to go to the student in on location; such as IETC – where a “one‐stop shop” is provided to achieve completion of training Other Social Support courses and increase the number of students Services i.e. Health, Access to completing the courses and finding Government Social Affordable meaningful employment, skilled and Support Transport experienced individuals.. Student / Individual Theory/Classroom remains in one location Practical/Applied Training Facilities under a “one‐stop shop” Training Facilities Notes: concept at IETC. 1. The “one‐stop shop” concept of IETC – where all the services come to the students in an affordable, accessible and timely manner. These are included on‐site: • All education and theory/classroom training Affordable Support • Practical training Accommodation Essential Facilities • Essential services i.e. childcare Support i.e. Shops • Other support services i.e. health, government social support Services i.e. • Other support services i.e. shops Childcare • Accessible and affordable support systems i.e. Dapto / railway Can be affordable and accessed in a timely manner allowing the student to successfully complete their vocational training in an affordable and timely manner and can be achieved in an average apprenticeship wage ‐ 05 February 2009 $300/wk.
