Barb Philp, Head of Adult Services at the TB Public Library has agreed to be a regular
writer for 2007 and will be sharing popular book selections and interesting tidbits on
topical events.

The words of the scripture have changed with new translations

The choir is a large part of our service assisted by Marcella‟s (See coloured insert for details)

joy. The organ still provides beautiful music but is sometimes
replaced by keyboard, guitar, drums or violin. Gone for the most
part are the old Methodist gospel hymns, replaced by more
modern music and different words.
As Jesus has asked, we now have a special place for children
who run to sit with Randy and hear his „surprise‟ for the day.
Then it‟s off with their teachers to their own study hour.
Members of the congregation also have a part in the service
reading scripture and announcing events, and even when
necessary, conducting the service.
