About Our Furniture
We take great pride in the solid teak furniture we offer. Our designs
are pleasing to the eye, very comfortable and designed to bring our cus-
tomers many years of enjoyment. We offer a full complement of solid teak
garden and patio furniture. Our teak tables, chairs, benches, loungers
and accessories will not only make your outdoor living space more beau-
tiful, but will also allow you to enjoy your surroundings in comfort.
The key factors in designing superior teak furniture are basic in
nature. We start by using only mature, quality teak heartwood, which is
kiln-dried to a moisture-content level that ensures each wood component
remains stable and will not shrink or warp. Components are cut using
jigs, and all mortise and tenon joints are machine-produced to ensure a
properly fitting joint. Any curved components of our furniture (such as
chair and bench slats) are not steamed and bent, but rather are cut from
solid blocks of mature teakwood. The furniture is assembled using glued, Captain arm chairs and Classic round table
crossed-dowelled mortise and tenon joints, ensuring structural integrity.
The process is then elegantly finished using solid brass hardware.f In In addition to being aesthetically pleasing and very comfortable, our
contrast, the poor-quality, less-durable teak furniture found in many teak furniture is designed to last for decades, even when left outside in the
stores is predominately produced using hand tools, inferior wood and/or most extreme conditions. We achieve this by designing components and

Care of Teak
Teakwood is one of the world’s most valuable timbers, recognized
for its durability and stability under severe climatic conditions. These
qualities, along with traditional doweled mortise and tenon construction,
guarantee teakwood’s long life even when left permanently outdoors. It is
for these reasons that teakwood has endured for well over 150 years as
the timber of choice in marine applications and shipbuilding. No other
timber can claim to possess the qualities of genuine teakwood.
Your teak furniture does not need to be protected from the elements. It
will naturally weather to a silver-grey colour after about six months of
exposure to rain and sun. This weathering occurs only on the surface and
does not harm the teakwood in any way. Should you decide you no longer
like the weathered look, the teakwood can easily be restored to its natural
colour, either by scrubbing it with a poly-bristle brush and soapy water,
Classic Teak
or with the careful use of a pressure washer.
Teakwood can also be treated to prevent the weathering process. We do
not recommend using teak oil on outdoor furniture as it will promote the 12391 No. 5 Road
