             Dear Friends, the harvest
To review what God has done and look to Him and plan for the future is encouraging because
we can see together how God has worked not only in the hearts of current staff, but also what
He has and can still do in hearts of others.

             We Praise Him for:
             1. the faithful service of the 2 full-time On-Site families- the Williams and the Charters.
             2. the regular support of many faithful prayer and financial supporters this year so far, with gifts
received a little ahead of last year’s numbers.
             3. the 5 summer staff workers assisting Dave Charters on maintenance this summer- Megan
Kingsbury,Tali Landgraff, Marissa Mikitka, Ashley Salum, Amber Sundy
             4. office help God has provided- Aurelie Pigeon to help during the busy registration time this
spring and for Anna Vjestica, back for a second summer to help in the office.

             Let us Ask God for:
             1. full camps and a harvest of souls for the Lord this summer.
             2. the needed strength during this busy time for the Charters + Williams preparing for camp
             3. continued growth in Friends of Beacon supporters who are committed to regular support
which helps in planning to meet all the needs of staff and their families.
             4. God’s blessing, protection and safety for all staff in all areas

Plans for the Fall Prayer Retreat
We are planning a Camp Prayer Retreat at Cambridge this fall on Saturday November 13, 2004 at
10:00 am. It’s a time for staff, friends and supporters of Beacon to come together to pray for the
needs of camp. Use the enclosed invitation to invite as many people as you can. It will start with
refreshments at 9:30 am. and end with lunch together. We hope to have as many directors, teach-
ers, counselors and program staff as possible together to thank God for blessings received and
             petition Him for the future.

If you wish to either become a monthly supporter (if you aren’t one already) or send a one time gift
of support at this time, please use the form below. We assure you any gift will be greatly appreciated.

May the Lord bless you richly,
