SPECIAL NOTE: No species may be hunted within the selected M.U. unless the season is open for those species authorized. It is the applicant’s
responsibility to be aware of any special conditions and/or restrictions as specified in the Hunting Regulations.
The applicant must provide close personal supervision of the hunter(s) being accompanied under this permit. Accompany means to remain in the
company of the other person, able to see the other person without the aid of any device other than ordinary corrective lenses, and able to
communicate by unamplified voice with that person.
The information required by this form and any documents you provide with it are collected under the authority of the Freedom of Information and Protection of
Privacy Act to process your license/permit application under the Wildlife Act. This information will be used to verify your eligibility for the license/permit you
are seeking and for other purposes related to the administration of the Wildlife Act. If you have any questions about the collection or use of this information,
contact the Director, Environmental Stewardship Division.
I hereby certify by my signature that: I meet the “PERMIT CONDITIONS” as set forth on attached pages of my application; and all entries made by
me are true and correct to the best of my knowledge. If the permit applicant has fines under the Wildlife Act or Firearms Act that were not paid
within the time required by law, the person’s right to apply for a permit is suspended (Wildlife Act s.85).

It is an offence to knowingly make a false statement in order to obtain a permit/licence. Violations may result in prosecution under the Wildlife Act
and/or refusal of future permit or licence requests. Any permit/licence obtained using false information is invalid.

                                             “PERMIT CONDITIONS” AND “PERMIT FEE”

APPLICANTS MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:
   - must be a B.C. resident, who is a Canadian citizen, or a permanent resident (landed immigrant) of Canada; and
   - must be 19 years of age or older; and must have:
       (i) held a B.C. resident hunting licence AND a big game species licence for 3 of the 5 years immediately preceding application for
            this permit, OR
       (ii) successfully completed the BC Conservation and Outdoor Recreation Education Program, and held a B.C. resident hunting
            AND a big game species licence for 2 of the 5 years immediately preceding application for this permit; and
   - must possess, or be qualified to possess, a B.C. resident hunting licence in good standing; and
   - must not have applied for or been issued with a permit of this nature during the same licence year as this application.
   - a person is not eligible for a permit under section 70(1) (a) of the Act if either the applicant or the non resident or non resident alien to
     whom the permit would apply, has been convicted of an offence
       (i) specified under section 84 (1) (a) of the Act, within the 5 year period immediately preceding the application for a permit, or
       (ii) specified under (a) section 84 (1) (b) of the Act, or (b) the Firearm Act within the 3 year period immediately preceding the
            application for a permit.

APPLICANTS MAY ACCOMPANY EITHER OR BOTH:
   a) a non-resident - a person who is not a resident of British Columbia but who
      (i) is a Canadian Citizen, a permanent resident of Canada, OR
      (ii) has his/her sole or permanent resident in Canada and has resided in Canada for the 12 month period immediately prior to the
           date of this application.
   b) a non resident alien (a person who is neither a resident nor a non resident) whose relationship to the applicant falls within the
      following categories: father, brother, son, uncle, nephew, grandson, grandfather, mother, sister, daughter, aunt, niece,
      granddaughter, grandmother, spouse, father-in-law, mother-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law and sister-in-law.
                                        NOTE: “COUSIN” is NOT an accepted relationship

RESTRICTION OF HUNT AREA:
   Applicants are restricted to hunt within ONE Region with a choice of three Management Units (M.U.s) within that Region.

HUNT PERIOD:
   The period of the hunt may not exceed 21 consecutive days from and including the hunt “start-date” stated in the permit, and a permit
   will not be issued unless there is a corresponding open season.

NON-RESIDENT HUNTER RESTRICTION:
   The “person(s) to be accompanied” as named on page one, must not have been accompanied for a different time period under another
   permit of this nature during the same licence year as this application.

NUMBER OF HUNTERS LIMITED:
   Permittees may not accompany more than two non residents or non resident aliens during the same licence year.

OFFENCES:
   A person commits an offence if he or she
   (a) hunts big game while in the company of a non resident or non resident alien who is hunting big game unless there is present a guide licenced
       under the Act or a person who holds a permit under section 70 (1) of the Act that applies to that non resident or non resident alien,
   (b) holds a permit under section 70 (1) (a) of the Act and while accompanying a non resident or non resident alien to which the permit applies, fails
       to hold a valid B.C. resident hunting licence and a species licence for the species being hunted, or
   (c) holds a permit under section 70 (1) (a) of the Act and fails to accompany the non resident or non resident alien to which the permit applies while
       that person is hunting big game unless a guide licenced under the Act or another person who holds a permit under section 70 (1) (a) that applies
       to the same non resident or non resident alien is accompanying that non resident or non resident alien.

REPORTING REQUIREMENTS:
   Permittees must submit a completed “Accompanied Hunt - Report” form NO LATER than ten days after the “Hunt Finish Date” stated in
   the permit and royalty payment for each animal killed.

FALSE STATEMENT:
   Applicants are reminded that it is an offence, under the Wildlife Act, to make false statement in any application for a licence or permit.

NON-RESIDENT LICENCE AVAILABILITY:
   Non-resident or non-resident alien hunting and big game species licences may be purchased at Government Agent offices. An
   approved Permit to Accompany must be presented to the licence issuer before big game species licences will be issued.

NON-RESIDENT ROYALTY PAYMENTS:
   Non-residents or non-resident aliens who are hunting under this Accompany to Hunt permit are subject to royalty fees for animals, as
   follows:
   Mountain sheep ........ $250
   Mountain goat ........... $150
   Moose ....................... $125
   Elk............................. $125
   Caribou ..................... $125
   Cougar ...................... $125
   Black bear................... $75
   Deer ............................ $50
   Wolf ............................ $50
