							       Safety belts save lives . . .
You’re invited to join the rally for safety belt
       use in Missouri.
Sixty-eight percent of the people who die in Missouri traffic crashes are not wearing a safety belt.

Missouri’s safety belt use rate dropped in 2006, the rst decline since 1998. Just 75 percent of
Missourians are buckling up as compared to 77 percent in 2005. That’s why the Primary Safety
Belt Partners, a task force formed under the Missouri Coalition for Roadway Safety, is inviting

         wearing safety belts.
