Day 01: Bangalore Tour
0900 AM : Depart to Full day Sight Seeing of Bangalore Covering Vidhana Soudha , Lal
Bagh , Cubbon Park , Government Museum of Bangalore (one of India's oldest
museums) Visvesvaraya Technological and Industrial Museum , Tipu Sultan's Fort and
Palace , The 16th-century, Dravidian- styled temple – Bull Temple , Ulsoor Lake ,
Venkatappa Art Gallery, Central Cottage Industries Emporium, High Court , ISKCON
Temple , Bannerghatta National Park etc.

VidhanaSoudha :
Vidhana Soudha or the State Secretariat, built in 1954, which is the main attraction of this city
is one of the most splendid architectural creations, India can boast of. Located at the
north - west end of Cubbon Park, it is a granite structure built in the neo - Dravidian
style of architecture.

Lal Bagh, was laid out in the 18th century by Hyder Ali and his son, Tipu Sultan.
Spread over an area of 240 acres, the park contains a variety of plants and trees, a
deer park, and one of the largest collections of rare tropical and sub - tropical plants,
in the country.

Cubbon Park, laid out in 1864, a brainchild of the British, covers an area of 300
acres. Within its premises are the Public Library, the High Court, the Government
Museum and the Visveswaraiah Technological & Industrial Museum.


The International Society for Krishna Consciousness or ISKCON Temple Complex of
Bangalore is a marvellous building structure that has blended the Dravidian and
modern architecture in its construction. The building has some of the modern
facilities like the multi-vision cinema theatre, computer aided presentation theatres
along with vedic library and a preaching library.

streets easily for just a few rupees.

City tour of Bangalore visiting - The Vidhana Soudha makes the major attraction in Bangalore.
The building is a massive neo Dravidian architecture presently functioning as the state
legislative assembly. Cubbon Park in the heart of the city, Lal Bagh which is famous for the
wonderfully bloomed red roses and the Bangalore Palace are some of the other must see of

Departing from the hotel after early breakfast we drive to the palace city - Mysore. On arrival
check in to hotel and later proceed for the city tour of Mysore visiting Maharaja’s Palace built
as recently as 1897, which is one of the biggest in India; Sri Jauyachamarajendra Art Gallery
housed in the Jag Mohan Palace, which has a collection of exquisite paintings and leisure in

After the Breakfast at Hotel proceed to the Mysore City Sightseeing like Chamundeshwari Hills
On Chamundi Hill is a temple to Goddess Chamundi, a form of the Female Power ‘Shakti’. It
commemorates Her victory over the demon bull Mahishasur after whom Mysore is named.
Coming down the hill is the largest Nandi Bull (the vehicle of Shiva) in the country. Towering
at a massive 5 meters, carved from a single rock in 1659 this sculpture is really a must-see.
The Mysore Zoo is said to be among the best maintained in India. In the mornings the tigers
are let out of their cages to roam in the comparatively more natural habitat of the enclosure.
The overwhelming neo-Gothic St. Philomena’s Cathedral is one of the largest in India
The Brindavan Gardens (19 km from the city) are famous for their musical fountains.
Coloured footlights light up the shooting sprays that dance to accompanying music! It actually
is part of a huge dam, the Krishnarajasagar, that forms a 130 sq km lake and fuels a power
On a river island in the Cauvery, 15 km from Mysore, is a wetland birds haven. The
Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary has resident flocks of ibis, egrets, cormorants, storks,
spoonbill ducks, darters and others that are best viewed in the morning or afternoons. It can
be accessed by road and boats will take you around the island for a fruitful and enjoyable trip.
