Plastic Bag Free Campaign

“Bag Watch” Audit Form

Australia currently uses 6.9 billion plastic check-out bags every
year. For our District to become plastic bag free we need your help!

During Bag Watch week, count how many new plastic shopping bags
are collected in your household – you may need help with this from
the person that does the shopping in your household.

Plastic bags may be from the supermarket, butcher, takeaway shop
or other retailer. In addition to this, take notice of how many bags
are reused somehow in your home. For example, do you reuse bags
for bin liners, lunch bags or any other uses?
