SUPPLY.
(USING VICMAP SIMPLIFIED V2)

SUMMARY

     1. Property and Parcel records from Vicmap Simplified V2
Decide on which property and parcel records your LGA will utilise for their Corporate
view and other modules. The 3 main types in order of importance are:
            a. Approved – Property and Parcel
            b. Proposed – Property and Parcel
            c. Property Base records – remove or retain (most LGA’s should remove/not
                display these records.)
     2. Address records from Vicmap Address
     3. Road records from Vicmap Transport
     4. Miscellaneous data such as Road casements, easement information are available
through Vicmap Property but could be resolved at a later date

PROPERTY & PARCEL RECORDS

     1. PARCEL APPROVED & PROPOSED RECORDS

LogicaCMG full file supply delivers these records as TWO separate tables

               a. Vicmap Simplified V2
                      i. These records are contained in two separate tables.
                         PARCEL_ APPROVED & PARCEL_ PROPOSED

               LABELLING

               PARCEL DESCRIPTION
The parcel tables contain the whole parcel description in the one field regardless
of its crown or TLA structure.
               Eg. lot/plan : 13\LP2474 or CA/sec/parish : 13\LP2474

               PARCEL NUMBER
The parcel tables contain a LGA Parcel Number where a match has been loaded.

               PARCEL_PFI FOR MAINTENANCE
The parcel tables contain the pfi for the parcel record which can be identified in
               M1/M2 maintenance.

               a. Vicmap Simplified V2
                       i. The parcel description is held in the SPI field from the PARCEL_
                           APPROVED & PARCEL_ PROPOSED tables.
ii. The LGA Parcel Number is held in the CREFNO field from the
PARCEL_ APPROVED & PARCEL_ PROPOSED tables.
iii. The pfi is held in the PARCEL_ PFI field from the PARCEL_
                           APPROVED & PARCEL_ PROPOSED tables.

               ANNOTATION
Annotation is held in the ANNOTATION_TEXT table of Vicmap Simplified V1. As
discussed many times (due to resources) this data has less validity in it’s content
to that of the attributes that can be labelled from other files in particular PARCEL_
               APPROVED & PARCEL_ PROPOSED.

     2. PROPERTY APPROVED & PROPOSED RECORDS

LogicaCMG full file supply delivers these records as TWO separate table

               a. Vicmap Simplified V2
                       i. These records are contained in two separate tables.
                      ii. PROPERTY_PRIMARY_ APPROVED & PROPERTY_
                          PRIMARY_PROPOSED

               LABELLING

               PROPERTY NUMBER
The property tables contain either a LGA Property Number where a match has
been loaded or a text string “NCPR” where a LGA Property Number will never be
               loaded.

               PROPERTY_PFI FOR MAINTENANCE
The property tables contain the pfi for the property record which can be identified
               in M1/M2 maintenance.

               a. Vicmap Simplified V2
                       i. The LGA Property Number is held in the PROPNUM field from the
PROPERTY_ APPROVED & PROPERTY_ PROPOSED tables.
ii. The pfi is held in the PROPERTY_ PFI field from the PROPERTY_
                           APPROVED & PROPERTY_ PROPOSED tables.

     3. PROPERTY BASE RECORDS

ONLY those that supply Property Base Numbers to Vicmap Property (M1’s) should
display these records. This will avoid user confusion in particular when deciding which
     Property_pfi to utilise during maintenance.

LogicaCMG full file supply delivers these records as a separate table

               a. Vicmap Simplified V2
                       i. These records are contained in two separate tables.
                      ii. PROPERTY_BASE_APPROVED &
                          PROPERTY_BASE_PROPOSED

                     LABELLING

               PROPERTY BASE NUMBER
The property tables contain a LGA Property Base Number where a match has
               been loaded.

               PROPERTY_PFI FOR MAINTENANCE
The property tables contain the pfi for the property record which can be identified
               in M1/M2 maintenance.

               a. Vicmap Simplified V2
                     i. The LGA Property Base Number is held in the PROPNUM field from
                         the PROPERTY_ BASE_APPROVED & PROPERTY_
                         BASE_PROPOSED tables.
ii. The pfi is held in the PROPERTY_ PFI field from the PROPERTY_
                         BASE_APPROVED & PROPERTY_ BASE_PROPOSED tables.

     4. ADDRESSES APPROVED & PROPOSED RECORDS

LogicaCMG full file supply (address_loc table) delivers these records as ONE table,
delivers the number fields as a text field type and delivers less fields and less records
     than Vicmap Address

     Vicmap Address

               1. Address records containing a House No 1 (#) and a valid road name (not
unnamed) can be identified by the ADDRESS_CLASS field either (S)tandard
                  and (M)iscellaneous.

               2. Approved and Proposed Address records can be identified by the
                  PROPERTY_STATUS field either (A)PROVED and (P)ROPOSED.

     LABELLING

               1. HOUSE_No_1 displays only the main # of the address, minimises clutter on
the display. Effective when displayed with Vicmap Transport’s road labels.

               2. GEO_ADDRESS displays House No_1, Road name, Road type, useful when
                  road labels not displayed.

               3. EZI_ ADDRESS displays House No_1, Road name, Road type, and Locality,
useful for verifying address data to road or locality information.

               4. Avoid displaying “0” or “unnamed” as a label by using the ADDRESS_CLASS
field in your label display SQL.

     5. ROAD CENTRELINE RECORDS

LogicaCMG full file supply delivers road centrelines from Vicmap Property. Centrelines
are created by finding the centre of the road easements. Roads without easement are not
contained in this dataset. No attribute information about the road is held.

     Vicmap Transport

Road centreline vectors representing the physically centre of the actual road. Private
roads and roads traversing crown and federal land are contained within this data. Various
     attribute information is contained.

     LABELLING

A concatenation of ROAD_NAME, ROAD_TYPE & ROAD SUFFIX is an effective way of
     displaying Vicmap Transport’s road labels.

     6. LINKING PARCEL AND PROPERTY RECORDS

LogicaCMG full file supply delivers a textual table containing pa_pfi and pr_pfi
     combinations.

               a. Vicmap Simplified V2
These records are contained within the PARCEL_PROPERTY table.

     7. LINKING PROPERTY AND ADDRESS RECORDS

LogicaCMG full file supply contains these records as ONE separate table linked, however
only ONE address per Property is held and so not all address records are contained
     within this file

               a. Vicmap Simplified V2
To join address to Property: all of the property tables (6 possible).property_pfi =
               Address. property_pfi
