Calgary, Alberta – Shell Canada Products announces its Aviation business will fund an
innovative new scholarship program in 2006 – and beyond - for Canadian schedulers and
dispatchers, aptly named the Canadian Schedulers and Dispatchers Scholarship.

Beginning October 1, 2005, prospective schedulers and dispatchers from across Canada can
apply to receive a $5,000 bursary toward education and training.

“This $5,000 Canadian Schedulers and Dispatchers Scholarship is the first of its kind for the
business aviation sector in Canada and underscores Shell’s ongoing commitment to educational
initiatives, from Aboriginal programs to post-secondary projects to scholarships and research
activities,” said Craig Andries, Manager, Aviation, Shell Canada Products.

The National Business Aviation Association’s (NBAA) Schedulers and Dispatchers Scholarship
Committee will administer the scholarship. The committee is dedicated to promoting education
and training as a means for individuals to increase the professionalism of their positions in the
corporate aviation department.

For more information about the Shell Canadian Schedulers and Dispatchers Scholarship, or to
apply, go to http://web.nbaa.org/public/education/scholarships/schedcanada/. Only Canadian
citizens are eligible. Submissions are due no later than November 14, 2005. Successful
applicant(s) will be announced at the 2006 Schedulers and Dispatchers Conference in San
Antonio, Texas, from January 25-27, 2006.
