                                                   About the Photographer
Gallery Hours:
Monday - Friday 9-4.30pm                           Michael first started shooting live music in 1991. A keen surfer and
Saturday 9-3pm                                     photographer, he was working for a WA based surfing magazine, and
                                                   happily combining his two passions. The West Australian Newspaper’s
                                                   Revue Magazine immediately offered him a job shooting live music after
                                                   he presented his portfolio in early 1992.
                                                   This opened the door to a world of well paid rock and roll photography
                                                   – he shot live music for The West Australian for six years, capturing
                                                   most bands touring the state, and all the major music festivals.
                                                   As well as the exhibition, Michael Wylie will be visiting Port Hedland
                                                   for two days in early November as part of an educational tour with
                                                   local schools during the day and an informal session with the general
                                                   public in the evening. The program is designed to engage and inspire
                                                   audiences from lovers of art, music and photography, to school students
