Preregistration for Parking begins in May. Wes Winkelman our Contracts and Grants
Manager is also the Department Parking Coordinator. In May he will
send out a message to all faculty and staff with a reminder and deadline for filling out the
parking forms.

If you are starting employment mid-year please contact Wes to find out what if any
available spots there may be left.

Department Policies: 4273 Allied Health Sciences

   1.   First priority is given to the Department Chair, Associate Chair, Assistant Chair, and
        Division Directors.
   2.   Remaining permits are allocated, based on UNC-CH service, in the following order:
            1. A) Permanent, full time
            2. B) Permanent, part-time
            3. C) Temporary, full-time
            4. D) Temporary, part-time
                 Permanent is defined as working twelve months of the year. Full-time is
                 defined as equal to or greater than 75% FTE.
   3.   Department employees taking an extended leave of greater than 30 days for personal or
        professional reasons may, at the Chair’s discretion, have their parking permits
        reassigned temporarily. Permits will be returned after the employee has returned from
        leave
   4.   The Department Chair has final approval of the department’s allocation of permits as
        well as the discretion to make changes as he/she sees fit.
