   Realize your God-given identity
Recognize the lie of the enemy
Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the
LORD, and Satan standing at his right side to accuse him. The LORD said to
Satan, "The LORD rebuke you, Satan! The LORD, who has chosen
Jerusalem, rebuke you! Is not this man a burning stick snatched from the
   fire?" Zechariah 3:1-2

          Receive the truth of God
For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you
received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, "Abba, Father." The Spirit
himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children. Now if we are
children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed
we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.
    Romans 8:15-17

    Respond from your God-given identity
Recognize when you are reacting from the lie
Moses said to the LORD, "O Lord, I have never been eloquent, neither in the
past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and
The LORD said to him, "Who gave man his mouth? Who makes him deaf or
mute? Who gives him sight or makes him blind? Is it not I, the LORD ? Now
go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say."
But Moses said, "O Lord, please send someone else to do it.“
    Exodus 4:10-13
Receive the authority to respond out of truth
For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you
through the laying on of my hands. For God did not give us a spirit of timidity,
but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.
    2 Timothy 1:6-7

Rest in the presence of God
Recognize your restlessness due to fear and insecurity
Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by
    following their example of disobedience.
For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword,
it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the
thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from
God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to
whom we must give account. Hebrews 4:11-13

Receive His promise of peace and victory
"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world
you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." John 16:33

     Release kingdom life
Recognize the Lord’s ways are different than ours
"For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,"
         declares the LORD.
"As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.
As the rain and the snow
         come down from heaven,
and do not return to it
         without watering the earth
and making it bud and flourish,
so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,
so is my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
Isaiah 55:8-11

Receive the instruction of the Lord
The man who loves his life will lose it, while the man who hates his life in this
world will keep it for eternal life. Whoever serves me must follow me; and
where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves
   me. John 12:25-26
