In consideration for this breeding the MARE OWNER agrees to pay the stud


……………………………………………………………………………………… (+ GST)


The booking fee of …………………………….will be applied to the service fee and the balance is
due in full on the positive 14 day pregnancy test.


If the mare leaves E B Lodge prior to a 14 or 45 day pregnancy test, the MARE OWNER shall
return the completed Veterinary Certificate of Pregnancy Examination to retain full rebreeding
rights under the live foal guarantee.



LIVE FOAL GUARANTEE

SIRE OWNER agrees that if the stud fee is paid and should the mare subsequently, as a result of
the breeding, not have a live foal that cannot stand and nurse, the stud fee will be carried
towards the next season.


     OWNER’
MARE OWNER’S should be aware that the term Live Foal Guarantee does not guarantee that a
live foal will be born by the mare being bred. This term entitles the MARE OWNER to a return
breeding to the same stallion, by the same mare the following year. This only applies in the
case that the mare should: a) fail to conceive
                            b) abort the foetus
                            c) the foal dies within 24 hours.


A veterinary certificate must be supplied.


Should the MARE OWNER fail to have a veterinarian examine the mare for twins or abortions at
or before eighteen (18) days after insemination and between forty (40) and sixty (60) days after
conception the Live Foal Guarantee will be void. E B Lodge will not honour Live Foal Guarantees
where the MARE OWNER has not taken appropriate examinations or where the mare loses the
pregnancy due to poor health due to owner neglect.

MARE OWNER’S are advised to have their mares examined by a qualified veterinary surgeon for
breeding soundness. E B Lodge must be informed of the results of a pregnancy test within 7
days.

A death certificate is required from the MARE OWNER’S veterinarian. The stud fee shall only be
carried forward one season, however, thereafter this contract shall be deemed fulfilled even if
said mare fails to conceive or deliver a live foal in the subsequent season and 50 % of the STUD
OWNERS stud fee shall be returned.


Should the said mare fail to conceive in the first season, substitution of a second mare is
acceptable.

Veterinary fees are to be the responsibility of the MARE OWNER


If the pregnancy of the said mare for the 2008/ 2009 breeding season does not result, a fee of

FOALING FEE

A mare sent to E B Lodge to be bred to…………………………………………which foals at E B
Lodge will be charged an additional $440.00 ( inc GST) foaling fee.


VETERINARY SERVICE

A vet will be called when it considered by E B Lodge to be necessary and any expenses arising

from such a visit will be charged to the MARE OWNER


This applies to breeding problems, routine care and emergency treatment.
A negative uterine swab is required of all visiting mares before arrival. If necessary, all swabs

will be taken at E B Lodge at the MARE OWNER’S expense. Breeding will commence at the return
of a negative swab.


An account with Maitland Vet Clinic, 9 Walker street, Maitland, NSW, must be established by the
MARE OWNER for any examination of the mare during her stay at E B Lodge. This all
reproductive procedures.


AGISTMENT COSTS

All horses receive a balanced feed formulation. The feeding regime is based upon the
individual’s condition, temperament, and stage of gestation


Agistment charges are:


       88.00 (inc
      $88.00 (inc GST) for a shared paddock with feed plus hay twice daily


      $121.00 (inc GST) for an individual yard with feed plus hay twice daily

The MARE OWNER must pay the account in full before the mare is permitted to depart E B
Lodge.


MARE OWNER acknowledges that an interest rate of 12% will be applicable on any overdue
account.


ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS FOR LIVE COVER

E B Lodge takes all care for mares being served but no responsibility for any injuries should
they occur. Owners are advised to be aware of the risks involved with Live Cover.


Any mare requiring such treatment and/or professional handling in the case of them being
difficult to handle will be treated with the use of restraints, twitches and sedatives. The MARE
OWNER will be responsible for the costs of all drugs used. E B Lodge will take no risks with
mares that are a danger to themselves or the stallion.
E B Lodge requests the right to administer hormone treatments for breeding and all treatments
                        OWNER.
are payable by the MARE OWNER Any mare or foal will continue, during the time spent at EB
Lodge, to be at the risk of the owner from accident, illness or misadventure of any description.


   ♦   Please supply a photocopy of the registration papers (both sides) or a detailed drawing of
       brands, markings, scars and identifying marks.


   ♦   Service fee’s are non refundable.


   ♦   E B Lodge may exercise the right to refuse any mare for breeding for whatever reasons.


   ♦   All accounts are to be paid in full before a service certificate will be issued.


   ♦   This contract represents the entire agreement between the two parties. No other
       agreements either verbal or implied are included unless expressly stated in this written
       contract.


Release: Client agrees that all outstanding balances due for agsitment, breeding, veterinary
care, farrier work and all other fees, charges and expenses pursuant to this contract, shall be
paid prior to the release of the horse


Subject to the following terms and conditions, I the undersigned accept the above conditions
for my horse.
