Is This a Sad Logo?? We’d like a new one! And we’d like your help. What we are looking for? The logo can be in any style and medium but must reflect our chapter. Think our location in Canada, our love of children’s books or reading, or writing and illustrating, the kite that is part of many SCBWI logos. We’d like an image no wider than 800pixels. To see what other chapters have as their logo, browse the “Regions” section at www.scbwi.org. All submissions must be original. The contest submission deadline is March 1, 2010. The colour art should be sent digitally at the resolution of 72 dpi for judging to raEast@scbwicanada.org. The winning logo will need to be available for use at a higher resolution of 300 dpi. *** Scbwi Canada East reserves the right not to pick any of the entries if none seems suitable What do you get? The winning Artist will receive: • a one year free membership to SCBWI, • a permanent link from the Canada East SCBWI site to their online portfolio or their blog and credit for the art on the Canada East site for as long as the logo is in use. •free registration (Not including accommodation and meal expenses. Over $100 value) to one future SCBWI Canada East event **Copyright will remain with the artist but SCBWI Canada East will have Exclusive use of the winning logo for the website, event brochures, chapter promotional announcements and paper or electronic chapter listings and letterhead as well as listings on the main SCBWI site at www.scbwi.org.
