                              KELSO STREET WIDENING

1.   Council adopt, as a matter of policy, to widen the road reserve in the section of Kelso
     Street, from Bathurst Street to Edward Street to a minimum width of 14.66m, by
     resuming 4.6m on the northern side, where necessary.

2.   As a minimum, the road reserve be configured as follows:

     •     1.83m footways on both sides of the road,
     •     2.5m parking lanes on both sides of the road, except at the existing left turn lane
           at Edward Street and at the proposed left turn lane at Church Street, and
     •     2 x 3m traffic lanes (1 for each direction of travel).

3.   A road widening plan be prepared in accordance with Division 2 – Road Widening, of
     the Roads Act – 1993.
