      There will be three people total. Either gender is welcome. You
        can meet your prospective housemates to judge compatibility, if
        you like the accommodations. This household usually attracts
        quiet professionals with busy lives, who live very independently,
        and rarely even see their other house mates. If you are noisy, like
        to party or are a slob (be honest now) this is not the right place for
    you. We are only interested in mature, interesting people on a
    serious career path.

   The bathroom features a Jacuzzi whirlpool bathtub with walls of
    marble. It is an elegant efficient modern design, with a 4500 watt

   There is a huge and extraordinary gourmet, eat in, kitchen that
     measures 13x20 feet, featuring quadruple sinks, plus a 24 cubic
     foot side by side refrigerator with automatic ice and water on the
     door, plus a second double door frost free fridge, a commercial
     stainless steel gas oven, a separate Jen-Air indoor Bar-B-Q grill.
     There is a 27,000 BTU Air Conditioner, a dishwasher, two
     disposals, tile floors plus tiffany and track lighting, and of course
     lots of cabinets and lots of tile counters. There is a Maytag clothes
     washer and dryer in the kitchen.

  Utilities are split three ways by the tenants. The furnace is a high
   effeminacy gas fired hot water baseboard system. There is endless
   gas hot water. The windows are all brand new double glazed tilt
   replacement sashes, crank casements or modern sliders. The
   apartment is fully insulated. Utilities add between $40 per month
   and up to $70 per month during peak heating season. (these are
   estimates for your share).
  The wiring is superb with 100 amp. service in the apartment.
   There are three braker boxes in the apartment and over fifty

►►Location / Neighborhood & Amenities / MBTA
  The house is a gingerbread Victorian located on Putnam Ave. in
   Cambridge, two blocks from the BU bridge next to MIT and
   walking distance to Harvard.       This is a safe and quiet

  The Cambridge cross town # 47 bus, stops at the nearest corner
   convenient food mart and goes directly to the Hospital district with
   the Beth Israel, Deaconess, Brigham, Dana Farber etc. The
   General, Mt Auburn, Cambridge and other hospitals are nearby.

  The Commonwealth Ave. Green line at the BU Bridge is a five
   minute walk. The central Square Red line is a 10 minute walk and
   The Hyatt Swimming Pool and health club are a five minute walk.

 Parking and Storage
  A $10 annual resident parking permit is required to park in front of
   the house. Parking is easy by Cambridge standards. There is no off
   street parking available and there is no storage except in the suite
   closets, and a storage bin in the hall, under the stairs.

  Note: all room mates have their own living room, bedroom and
   private bath. Everyone has total privacy except the shared use of
   the gourmet kitchen.
  The housemates are busy professionals, who do not use the kitchen
   heavily, you have nearly the same privacy as a one bedroom
   apartment, and a nicer place for much less money.
  We are seeking one new room mate this year. Most applicants are
   in their mid twenties to mid thirties. We would like to have a
   mixed gender household, of quiet dedicated professionals, with
   interesting active lives.
  If you decide to join the household, you can interview and veto
   candidates, if you like. This household usually attracts quiet, busy
   professionals, who live very independently, and rarely even see
   their house mates.

►►Requirements for Tenancy
  You must be quiet, stable, professionally minded and a single man
   or woman, with an active, interesting life. No couch potatoes.
   Heavy drinking and partying is completely unwelcome. This is a
   quiet household, for busy professionals.
  We will not consider couples. No smokers, no pets, no exceptions.
  You must have a good credit history and employment history or a
  You will need one months rent to lease the apartment. To move in
   you will need a first months rent, a last months rent and a security
   deposit (total of 3 months rent).
    Your security deposit can be paid in installments, if necessary, if
     you credit history is excellent. (Move in with two months rent paid
     and security deposit due in installments).
    The lease would run to 6/1/06, and then renew in one year cycles,
     if you choose.
