          A word from the Auctioneer;

Our January Sale met with considerable

interest across the board with far more

buyers in the room than anticipated and

          much presale internet interest.Although a

slightly reduced entry due entirely to the
poor weather, hammer prices were very

respectable.

As ever, it was items of interest or age

that attracted the attention and met with

a ready buyers market.

Our collection of Stowe items was

heavily contested with a 100% sale

rate- we are lucky to have more such items

in this month including the five most

important books commensurate with
Stowe’s illustrious history- three 18 th C

Seeley guide books, the 1848 Christy

Manson Catalogue with annotated

addendum and the 1921 Jackson Stopps

catalogue with subsidiary 1922

catalogue. Last months’ Seeley guide book

made to £620- lets see if we can better

that this month!

A very respectable entry for out Toys,

Dolls & Musical Instruments Sale is

also contained herein- I suspect there will
be some interesting results throughout the

whole sale.

We are now inviting entries for our

March Antiques & Collectables Sale

and also our March Specialist Spring

Fine Art Sale (original works of art

only) If you have a painting- oil,

watercolour, pencil, pastel or any original

work of art, do bring it in for a free

valuation and see if it’s worth more than

you think!
Sale entries must close Friday 5 th

     March…

            Kindest Regards
