            DISCOUNT TICKET INFORMATION
As indicated below, the Ford Amphitheatre typically offers a number of discounts.

   Subscribers
     • Orders for three or more evening events receive 20% off on each ticket.
This applies for all evening performances in the partnership program.

   Students
      • Students of all ages can purchase tickets at a discounted price of $12.00.
      • Producers choose whether or not to allow this discount.

   Children
      • The Ford offers a $12.00 discount ticket for children.
      • Producers choose whether or not to allow this discount.
      • (Note: Every person, no matter the age, must purchase a ticket, with the
exception of babies sitting on laps.)

   Senior Citizen
     • The Ford does not offer a discount for senior citizens (the Ford works to
offer reasonably priced tickets to all members of the general public).

   Groups
      • The box office can provide 10% off (rounded) on each ticket for
groups purchasing 8-15 tickets at one time for a performance
and 20% off (rounded) on each ticket for groups purchasing 16
or more tickets at a time. Already discounted student/child tickets
do not receive an additional percentage off, but they do count toward
the total number of tickets required to receive the group discounts
        on regularly priced tickets.
     • Event producers choose whether or not to allow this discount.
     • Producers are requested not to buy group tickets for their own event.

Other discounts:
     • The Ford offers a 20% discount to Dance Resource Center members for
      dance events.
     • Producers that are part of an association (i.e., BASC, Cabaret West, etc.)
and want association members to have a 20% discount should indicate
this on the event information form.
     • Any other discounts must be cleared through Susanna first.
     • Producers should give the Ford Box Office at least one week notice to add
a discount to a ticketed event.

Event producers should be aware that ticket discounting represents a
trade-off between decreasing the amount received per ticket and possibly
increasing the number of tickets sold. It can be an important element of an
event’s total marketing mix if properly used.
