					                Holiday Silent Auction
The Clearmeadow School Council is proud to present its first ever Silent Auction
during our annual Holiday Concerts. The concerts are being held on the evenings of
December 8th, 9th and 10th.

The items to be auctioned will be on display outside the gymnasium on each of the
concert nights, between 5:45 p.m. and 8:45 p.m.

Here’s How the Auction Will Work
Each Silent Auction item will have a unique number on the item and on the
      corresponding bid sheet.

Enter your bid, your name, and your phone number on the first available
line of the bid sheet for the item you are interested in. Bids must be written in
ink – no pencils. Changes to a bid can only be made by the bidder and must be
      initialled by the bidder.

Bids must be raised in increments of $5 minimum and no bid can be less than
the previous bids. There will be a minimum bid on some items (depending
on the value of the item).

Reserve bids will also be accepted and are a great option for those who may
not be attending the final evening of the auction. A reserve bid allows you to
enter a bid for an item on the night you are attending, but to also submit a
secret "final bid" that represents the highest bid you are willing to make. The
winning bid will be whichever is higher – the final “sheet” bid or the highest
reserve bid. If you had submitted both the highest “sheet” bid and the highest
"reserve bid", you would pay the amount from the bid sheet. If you want to
submit a “reserve bid”, please see one of our Silent Auction Volunteers for a
      Reserve Bid form.

Close of bidding is 8:45pm December 10th, 2009. No bids will be accepted
      after that time.

Successful bidders will be contacted on December 11th and are responsible for paying
for all auction items via cash or cheque only.

100% of the profits go to Clearmeadow P.S.
