Ada Merritt Community GARDEN TEAM!
We need VOLUNTEERS (no special skills required) to help expand our schoolyard garden & habitat. Our students, wildlife and the entire school community receive the benefits! We’re seeking “people power” which is vital to our success. Get inspired to get involved! Be part of a fun team! Many roles available (besides gardening!) We need a hands-on support base in the following areas: maintenance & special projects support from a landscaper and carpenter incorporating art (artists/painters) education/curriculum integration public relations Besides maintaining our ever growing habitats and beautifying our schoolyard, our vision includes: Setting up Outdoor Learning Lab Incorporating native plants Rejuvenating our schoolyard and improving play spaces Adding shade structures, bird feeders, stones, vine tepees, play elements and more!
