Roadmap to Success Step 1: Identify your “Why” and set goals Spend some time and energy identifying what it is you really want to accomplish with your Vemma business. Why did you make a decision to join the Vemma team? What do you want out of your business? How much money do you want to earn? Why is that important to you? Put some thought into this action item and write your reasons down in a notebook or success journal. It has been my experience that when individuals take a few minutes to identify the reasons why they are building their business, they will do what it takes to make their dreams a reality. The more reasons, the deeper the commitment. The more reasons, the more consistent the effort. This first step will provide a solid foundation for your business. Also, set goals for yourself that will help you measure progress as you work towards your “Why.” Remember to make your goals realistic and achievable. “Goals. There’s no telling what you can do when you get inspired by them. There’s no telling what you can do when you believe in them. And there’s no telling what will happen when you act upon them.” --Jim Rohn Step 2: Create your Contact List Brainstorm everyone you know and write their names down on paper. Do not prejudge and do not qualify initially. Simply write their names down. Think of friends, family, neighbors, business and job associates, school friends, church friends, people that you do business with, etc. This list is one of your most important assets. Once your initial list is completed, contact your upline success coach for assistance and training on how to approach these people. The formula for growing your business is simple - the more people you can expose to the Vemma business and the Vemma Nutrition Program, the faster your business will grow! You may just want to go through your email address book and send them an invitation to visit your marketing site or you may want to send them sales and marketing materials and follow up with a phone call. Remember, the main goal is to tell the Vemma story to as many people as possible. Step 3: Use the Vemma Nutrition Program yourself Make sure you and your family are on a monthly autoship to take advantage of this tremendous breakthrough product. It is simple, convenient and complete; the most complete liquid nutritional supplement on the market. You need to be a “product of the product” and lead by example. By enjoying the product yourself, your genuine and sincere endorsement will make a tremendous impact in growing your business. Step 4: Recommend the Vemma Nutrition Program to others Since you use the product yourself, it becomes easy to suggest that others try the product as well. With the tremendous tools and marketing materials available, and the Vemma 100% money-back guarantee, they have nothing to lose and great health to gain. Prospects visiting your myVemma.com site will be able to choose between becoming a Customer or becoming a Member. Step 5: Build a Team by enrolling other Members There are many people that you know that would welcome an opportunity to create an additional income stream without jeopardizing their job or current career. Perhaps they want to pay off debt, pay for a child’s education or supplement their retirement plans. Vemma could be the business vehicle they are looking for so don’t keep it a secret! Leverage the many tools (which include CDs, conference calls, etc.) to share this business with them. Step 6: Plug into the support systems that are already in place Get connected with your upline enroller. Introduce yourself, and make sure you have their contact information. Listen to the weekly conference calls, attend local events in your area (or start your own!). If you haven’t already, take a look at the advanced Internet systems that are available to help you grow your business. Attend the big conventions and learn from the superstars that are breaking records! Step 7: Work smarter, not harder Now what do I mean by “working smart?” Well, I believe there is no substitute for good old fashioned hard work and commitment. But I also believe working hard AND smart is the recipe for success. To work smart with your Vemma business, you must plug into the systems and tools that have been created to help you succeed. Leverage the tools and systems and allow them to help you grow your business. For example, instead of trying to memorize the perfect presentation and all of the exciting facts about our product, let the CDs do the work for you. Make a goal to hand out two, three or five CDs each day. Let’s say that takes two hours (although it should take less time); you now have each CD working for you by delivering a crisp 37-minute overview of the Vemma Business Opportunity. Let the product brochure support your efforts to share the tremendous health benefits of our product. As you talk to people about the business, point them to your myVemma.com marketing website. This is a tremendous credibility tool with great information. When people see your professional website, they will realize that your Vemma business is for real. Step 8: Leverage the tools so your business can grow and duplicate Working smart also means plugging in with your upline. Make sure to leverage your upline leadership and their efforts by participating in their conference calls and events with prospects. Listen to the national conference calls and attend the local, regional and national events and leadership conferences. You’ll find a listing in your back office. This will accelerate you through your learning curve because you will learn from the best and brightest leaders who are building tremendous national and international businesses. You do not have to reinvent the wheel. Gather great ideas from your upline and top leaders and put them into action immediately! Have you registered for our next convention yet? My dad used to say that not all people that attend conventions are top income earners, but all top income earners attend conventions. Need I say more?! The comprehensive Vemma tools and systems put success at your fingertips. Put them to use for yourself and let’s charge ahead and live the life of your dreams! Step 9: Time Management Make certain that you prioritize your activities and do something every day to advance and grow your business. Consistency is so important. Consistency creates momentum and momentum is sustained through consistency. In addition, make sure that your consistent actions will lead to the best results. A mentor of mine once said, “Do not confuse activity with productivity.” In your Vemma business, there are four things that transfer into the most productive use of your time: • Share the Vemma Business Opportunity • Share the Vemma Nutrition Program • Attend events with a guest. These events include local, regional and national events, conference calls, home meetings, etc. • Promote Upcoming Events and make sure your team leverages the events by plugging guests and prospects into them. Ninety-five percent of the time you invest in Vemma should be spent in the above four activities. This will create the best results. Hold yourself accountable and make sure that you are focusing on these “goal achieving” activities instead of “tension relieving” activities (like organizing your home office!) that do not lead to productive results. Ask yourself, “If everyone in my Vemma business did what I did today, would my business have grown?” If you like your answer, stay the course. If you do not, don’t worry about it. Simply make the adjustments and make tomorrow a better day! Step 10: Personal Growth Jim Rohn, once said, “Work harder on yourself than you do on your business.” This could be some of the best advice you will ever follow. How can you work on yourself? One way is to learn from people you most admire and respect, people like Jim Rohn, Zig Ziglar, Robert Kiyosaki, Anthony Robbins, Brian Tracy, John Maxwell and many others. Read their books; listen to their audios and CDs. Turn your driving time into productive time. If you make an effort in this area of your life, both your personal and business life will never be the same again! Set a goal to read one book a month that will help you improve yourself. There are so many great resources available. Plug into Dani Johnson for in-depth training. By becoming a Member at her site (no cost), you are able to tap into two years worth of great weekly training calls that she has made available. Check with you upline for the best ones to begin with. Make a commitment to learn, grow and improve every day! Learners are earners and this enthusiasm will duplicate through your organization.
