Our aim is to introduce participants to principles and techniques that will enhance all their activities in the kitchen. Classes are small, hands- on and highly interactive, offering participants a valuable opportunity to work closely with our experienced Chefs and to discover some of the finer points of the most pleasurable arts – cooking! This year has been an amazing one! We have been very active both in our diploma program classes for students wanting to become Chefs and our many community events which has been proven to be one of our best years yet! Our NEW LOCATION in Jackson Square, has been a wonderful move and an exciting adventure! The new location has allowed us to share more of our secrets with you by expanding our recreational classes to new ideas, new flavours and to new introductions of our Community Chefs and Restaurants. Once again, we have some great ideas and we can’t wait to share them with you. Bon Appetite, Murline Mallette ”CULINARY BOOT CAMP”… Sept. 9th 2009 – December 2nd 2009 OR January 27th 2010 to April 21st 2010 For those of you who want to start at the beginning we are bringing back by popular demand “CULINARY BOOT CAMP”. At Liaison College, Hamilton campus you can have the boot camp experience without the pain! It’s all in the name of “Love for Food”. We have put together a 13 week session that will take you back to the basics, learning all over again .. Why you love being in the kitchen. Your Boot Camp will run 1 night a week for 13 weeks and will include the following classes: (3 hour classes) Knife Skills and how to prepare your kitchen for a culinary experience. (1 class) Stocks and Soups (1 classes) Sauces and Vegetable Cookery (2 classes) Starches, Starches and More Starches!! (2 classes) Poultry Passion (2 classes) Where’s the Beef? (2 classes) Fish and Seafood (2 classes) Dessert…ahhhhh Dessert.. (1 class) Culinary Boot Camp starts: September 9th 2009 to December 2nd 2009. All classes are on Wednesday nights and start at 7:00 pm SHARP!!! Cost Per Person $ 949.00 + GST (5% taxes) = $ 996.45 (Includes all 13 weeks of instruction + The “Professional Cooking” for Canadian Chefs Textbook). We MUST have a minimum of 6 in the class to run this boot ”CULINARY BOOT CAMP”… ADVANCED LEVEL May 12th 2010 to June 30th 2010 Now for those of you who were challenged in the Culinary Boot Ca,mp “Basic Level” and successfully completed the program with no bumps or bruises (LOL) here’s one more challenge for you to endure. We are now running an Advanced Level Boot Camp. You’ll take your skills learned and bring them to a higher level…..Dinner parties and special occasions will never be the same again… Culinary Boot Camp starts: May 12th 2010 to June 30th 2010 (8 Classes).
