114 Street from 83 Avenue to University Avenue
The trackway contractor has started setting the track to final alignment and grade. Over the next couple
of weeks, the equipment will be seen working north of University Avenue.
A closure of the Aberhart pedestrian walkway is scheduled from September 26 1600 hrs to September 29
0600 hrs. During this time pedestrians traveling north from the Belgravia area are requested to take
University Avenue east to 114 Street and continue north along 114 Street.
ETS and the trackwork contractor will also be working across 83 Avenue on September 27 and 28 from
0100 hrs to 0500 hrs. This will require intermittent crossings of 83 Avenue. Traffic along 114 Street
        should not be affected.

114 Street from University Avenue to 74 Avenue
Landscaping continues along 114 Street and along the multi-use trail. Intermittent off-peak lane
closures are required for landscaping installation.
Most of the multi-use trail is paved except for the sections from 77 Avenue to the pedestrian tunnel and
the connection from 74 Avenue to 73 Avenue.
In the area from 74 Avenue to 73 Avenue the contractor is installing a catch basin and a section of
retaining wall before the multi-use trail can be completed. This is scheduled to be complete in the next
few weeks. Temporary pedestrian access will not be available in this area because of limited working
space. Pedestrians should use 115 Street and 74 Avenue or 76 Avenue to access 114 street.
The contractor is setting the track to final grade and alignment from University Avenue to Belgravia
Road LRT Underpass. Intermittent removals of the pedestrian bridges at 78 and 74 Avenues continue to
allow installation of tracks. This work is now expected to be completed by November. Use 76 Avenue
as an alternate crossing point for bus stop or to cross 114 Street.

McKernan / Belgravia LRT Station and Pedestrian Underpass

crosswalk on the west side of 114 Street, leading to the pedestrian underpass.
Work on station and platform continues including installation of handrails and tile.

 Belgravia Road LRT Underpass
The City drainage project to construct a shaft for a storm relief tunnel for the neighbourhood east of 114
