                PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS

ABC Studios, the leader in the development, production and strategic distribution
of
entertainment content across television and emerging digital platforms, has announced
the 10 participants of the 2008-09 Production Associates Program.

The successful eight year program offers diverse candidates full-time, entry-level
positions within the studio’s Burbank-based television production management divisions
for 12 months, with the goal of preparing them for future advancement opportunities
within the television industry.

The 2008-09 associates, who begin their assignments this week, are Juanpaolo
Catapang, Nantale Corbett, Sonia Evans, Kelsey Fallesen, Benjamin Jones, Enoch
Changhee Kim, Deborah Lin, Joshua R. Pineda, Parul Puri and Brittany Williams.

“ABC Studios produces some of the most highly-rated, critically acclaimed and
innovative programming on television, due in large part to the dynamic and hardworking
executives we have working in our various divisions. It is programs like these that
enhance the studio’s diversity efforts and plant the seeds for the next group of
executives to flourish,” said Mark Pedowitz, president, ABC Studios.

As the program seeks applicants from varied and diverse backgrounds, it is also
an important component for the overall diversity outreach efforts of The Walt Disney
Company, which was recently recognized as one of the Top 50 companies for diversity
by DiversityInc, and is the parent company of ABC Studios.

Supported by the ABC Diversity Group, affiliated with ABC’s New Talent
Development Group and administered by Jean Hester, executive director, Production
Administration, ABC Studios, the Associates Program launched in 2000 with 98 Los
Angeles-based applicants and has since grown to administer over 500 applications from
people all over the United States who desire to gain valuable and enriching hands-on
work experience in the entertainment industry. Once selected, the Production Associates
are placed into five main groups: Production Management, Production Finance, Post-
Production Management, Studio Crafts Management and Production Business and Legal
Affairs. They are then supervised and mentored by ABC Studios executives in those
departments.
Previously, job placement at the end of each program year has been an
impressive 100% for those choosing to stay within the entertainment industry. Associates
have been hired in such divergent positions as Set Painter with Local 729; Staff
Coordinator with ABC Studios; Western Costume Local 705 member; Post Coordinator at
Nickelodeon; Editor, ABC Broadcast Standards and Practices; Credits Administration
Manager, ABC Studios; Assistant to President, Storyline Productions; 2nd Accountant,

International Television.

The Disney-ABC Television Group strives to create quality content that represents
the rich diversity of their audiences, including race, culture and gender, as well as a
diversity of ideas, experiences and histories. ABC Studios and The Walt Disney
Company’s commitment to discovering and nurturing diverse talent, both on- and off-
camera, is exemplified through a variety of industry-leading talent development
programs. In addition to the ABC Studios Program Associates Program, other programs
include the ABC-DGA Directing Fellowship, the Disney-ABC Television Group/Walt
Disney Studios-Writers Guild of America West Writing Fellowship, the Casting Project,
