									Operating the SKY Convertible Top
The Saturn SKY offers a simple-to-use convertible top that stows conveniently under the
rear trunk lid. You can open the trunk lid either by activating a button in the glove box, or
by simply pressing the button on your key fob. Please take a minute to become familiar
with the step-by-step operating instructions outlined below. Then, click the following
links to see a video demonstration of each process.

Lowering the Convertible Top
  1. With an automatic transmission in Park or a manual transmission in 1 st or Reverse
      and the parking brake set, turn off the ignition
  2. Open the trunk lid using the button on the key fob, or inside the glove box
  3. Unlock the convertible top front latch (located above the inside rearview mirror)
      by pulling it down and turning counterclockwise
  4. Pull forward on the side edge of the convertible top and pull it off the windshield
      frame
  5. Push evenly on the center of the top to ensure that it is fully retracted and securely
      stored
  6. Close the trunk lid

Raising the Convertible Top
   1. With an automatic transmission in Park or a manual transmission in 1 st or Reverse
       and the parking brake set, lower the windows and then turn off the ignition
   2. Open the trunk lid using the button on the key fob, or inside the glove box
   3. Grip the side edge of the convertible top and pull it forward
   4. Close the trunk
   5. At the rear edge of the convertible top, snap the convertible top pegs into the
       receiving holes at the top of the trunk
   6. Pull the front edge of the convertible top to the fully closed position, resting on
       the windshield frame
   7. Lock the convertible top front latch by turning it clockwise

Note: Do not raise or lower the convertible top while the vehicle is in motion.
