Transport Engineer/Network Provisioner
 Handle several projects primarily for Sprint and T-Mobile on the western region of U.S.
 Responsible for installing, augmenting, downsizing, and disconnecting a wide array of DS1’s (IMT’s, FGD’s,
SS7, LAN/WAN’s, Ethernet, wireless, and dedicated customer) and DS3’s. Create orders to establish new
       SONET OC systems ranging from OC3 to OC192 (i.e. – OC3, OC12, OC24, OC48, & OC192).
 Create new slotting assignments for Cell Site/Node B DS1’s.
 Receive and confirm error-free ASR’s (via Granite/XNG, in reference to confirming accuracy of all circuit
segments) and then placing these ASR’s to respective carriers. Then, the LEC/IXC is contacted for FOC’s,
DLR’s, and due dates. All MRC’s are confirmed via LATTIS Pro.
 Developed M&P’s to streamline the actual order processes for ASR’s as well as all types of DS1’s, DS3’s, and
the SONET OC systems. Also used Granite/XNG & Homer in provisioning circuits.
 Designed and maintain an Access database of every pending DS1, DS3, and SONET Optical Carrier in the
western region, along with all applicable MRC information.
 Designed and maintain a Visio diagram of every active DS3 in the eastern region, along with a $17,000,000
Access database of every completed SONET OC, DS3, and DS1, along with all pertinent MRC information.

REMAX & KELLER WILLIAMS REALTY
Real Estate Agent October 2003-March 2006

VERIZON (MCI formerly) January 2000 – April 2002
Network Traffic Engineer
 Planned all network analysis for 8 different switch sites by working extensively with the OSP’s. Also developed
and evaluated all local traffic data reports for these 8 switches.
 Used switch site data to evaluate busy hour, percent of utilization, originating and terminating minutes as well as
hourly data by LATA, switch, or trunk group and calculated minutes-of-use (MOU’s) capacity to determine DS1
and DS3 trunk requirements. Orders were then issued to network provisioners for installs, augments, downsizes,
or disconnects to achieve optimal network use.
 Assisted in network planning for deployment of new switches to support corporate merger between MCI
WORLDCOM, INC. and INTERMEDIA. Calculated usage on trunk groups and assisted in Local Number
Portability (LNP) migration of traffic to new switch locations.
LD Network Design Engineer
 Received Engineering Work requests(Construction Activity Requests) from capacity planning group and made
Engineering Design Plans to increase capacity of the entire long distance network and subsequently engineered
this information into a long distance database ACES for lightwave equipment, LTE/ADM equipment, optical
amplifiers, DWDM and various other types of long distance transmission equipment. The information from the
database was then sent to field installers regarding where to install lightwave transmission equipment.
 Worked with Central Office Engineering to plan out Racks on facilty floorplans and power issues supporting
these long distance capacity projects. Worked up to 5 project similtauously and coordinated with Management
and Project Management to complete Engineering Specifications for each project.
 Ordered equipment from multiple vendors on each project with costs totaling up to $2Million.
NEXTLINK COMMUNICATIONS August 1999 – December 1999
Network Billing Analyst
 Evaluated Call Display Records (CDR) traffic data from a network of 26 switches. Gathered data from the A/S
400 using Saville software and ran queries to locate incomplete call records. Formatted incomplete records and
forwarded information to bill the customers.
EXCEL TELECOMMUNICATIONS, INC. April 1995 – August 1999
Network Traffic Engineer
 Engineered all network planning for 5 switch sites. Developed and evaluated traffic data reports to support
network planning. These reports were compiled and analyzed via Microsoft Access and Excel.
 Used data from the switch site to evaluate various components such as busy hour, originating and terminating
minutes, and hourly data by LATA, switch or trunk group.
 Assisted in network planning for deployment of new switches on the west coast, east coast, and Florida to support
corporate merger with TELEGLOBE in Canada. Calculated minutes-of-use capacity and converting minutes-of-
use to Erlangs to determine DS1 and DS3 trunk requirements. Issued orders for processing disconnects,
downsizes, installs, and augments of Intermachine Trunks (IMT’s), FGD’s, Direct End Office Trunks (DEOT’s),
and WATS trunk groups to achieve optimal network use. Sized trunk groups that were rehoming to new switch
       sites.
 Analyzed switches in New York City and Washington DC to determine area code overlaps. Utilized Access
database and Excel spreadsheets to evaluate area code data. Identified NPAs served by each switch and indicated
NPA/NXXs with overlapping service from both switches. Determined which switch would serve each NPA then
contacted engineers at Excel and to make changes at the switch level.
 Interfaced with provisioning group to support tandem splits at LECs in various cities. Calculated Excel’s traffic
requirements to assist in sizing the new trunk group split. Researched the Local Exchange Routing Guide
(LERG) to match NPA/NXXs to tandem switches. Calculated which NPA/NXXs would move to the new tandem.
Determined percentage of telephone numbers moving to new tandem and calculated minutes of use for the new
location. Informed provisionors of trunk group sizing and additional DS1 requirements for Excel traffic.
 Tracked port usage to determine when new facilities would be available for use.

Mission Control/Call Center (Automatic Call Distribution – ACD) Traffic Analyst
 Monitored and analyzed alarms, call center statistics, adherence, compliance and service levels at the Network
