Dear prospective client,

    This EPK is not designed for club & bar owners. We have another kit for you,
(EPK-Clubs) is on our website that is specifically designed with your venue in mind
complete with poster and other helpful things.

    This Electronic Promotional Kit (EPK-Private) is designed for the private individ-
ual and corporate individuals who may be seeking to purchase entertainment for
an event and those who are in the beginning process of planning for an upcoming
event. There are event planners who are well organized and experienced but this
EPK is tailored to help those who are not as experienced. Perhaps, even an experi-
enced event planner, can utilize some of the information within the following
pages.

      With the user in mind, we deliberately did not use too much color in this EPK
to help lower any printing cost. We also listed the items most likely to be printed
in the last pages of this document. It has been our experience that most printers
print from the last page of the document to the first page. Therefore, you may
cancel your print job at any time if you have the desired document.

The following pages may help you regardless of whether you decide to hire the
band for your event. There are certain thing that you will have to think about and
decide on in the planning your event. You’ll have to consider who will be the Mas-
ter of Ceremonies or emcee for the event, type of entertainment, guest speakers,
location, food, how many guest the list goes on……?

                      Tom Can't Stop Rocks!
    Tom is an acronym for Talented Older Musician's who just Can't Stop
rockin'. They truly know & love their craft. They have been performing lo-
cally for nearly a decade. The band covers classic rock & roll, soul & funk.
They also cover other genres such as reggae, blues, jazz and country plus
some originals. From flip flops to tuxedos, they can entertain you on any
occasion. If your crowd is between 30 and 60, this is the band!

    The band specializes in providing complete live entertainment for: pri-
vate affairs; corporate events; cocktail parties; weddings; grand openings
and larger venues such as regional fairs and festivals. The band will and
has traveled for events but prefer to perform between Orlando and Key
West.

    The band have performed at many notable local locations in South Flor-
ida including: Mar-A-Lago, The Ritz-Carlton, SunFest, Roger Dean Sta-
dium, Sound Advice Amphitheater, Meyer Amphitheater, Clematis Street,
Abacoa Town Center, Lake Worth Downtown, Bryant Park, Carlin Park,
Curry Park, Okeeheelee Park, John Prince Park, Florida International Uni-
versity and Sun-Sport Gardens. In addition, Tom Can't Stop has performed
at many south Florida dance/night clubs.

      They are professionals and take each event serious and wants to
make sure their clients are satisfied. They will ensure that their perform-
ance is great to hear and fun to watch with a very clear and balanced pro-
fessional sound system provided by the band. You will not need the addi-
tional expense of hiring a sound man. Tom Can’t Stop also has the experi-
ence to emcee your event as well. You will have to let us know in advance

Here is a list of questions you might want to bring along with you when meeting a Band or
DJ for the first time.

   Are you represented by an Agency or are you independent?
   What will you be wearing?
   What are the set lengths (Bands should play 45 minutes on the hour with a 15-minute break).
   How many breaks will you take? How long? Will you play a CD during this time?
   To date how many events have you worked (200 or more is safe).


Do you have the appropriate music and variety for our function. Can I see a song list

   Do you play requests from the guests?
   How long do you generally get set up prior to the guests arriving?
   Are you licensed and insured?
   Can you provide me with references? (Be sure to follow up with them)
   Do you ever play more than one engagement in a day?
   How much deposit do you need?
   What are your cancellation and refund policies? (Get this in writing!)
   Will someone be able to act as an emcee?
   Is performing a hobby or a full-time job?


When calling the references the band/DJ provided you here are some questions you might want to ask

   Did the band/DJ show up on time?
   Were they professional?
   Did they return phone calls and communicate with you well?
   Did they know what you wanted?

   Did they play a good set?

   Did they break down the equipment on time?

   How did they interact with guests? Any problems?
                             Private Event Performance Engagement Contract

THIS CONTRACT, entered into on ______________, (Date) is for the personal services of the band Tom Can’t Stop’s (6 to 8)
musicians for the performance described below. The undersigned client/employer and the band through their below listed
designated representatives agree and contract as follows:

·          A 20% deposit is required to hold the date for the event
·          A 30 day notice is required for all cancelations or deposit will not be refunded. No additional deposit will be required if
           client reschedules the event, unless rescheduled date is a holiday
·          Deposit: ___________ (20% of agreed upon wage) $1,500.00 is our standard private engagement fee for 3 hours
·          Balance: ___________ due prior to performance on the day of event

          Additional Terms:
1.    Band will furnish PA sound system for performance unless otherwise specified
2.    Band requires full unobstructed access to the performance area (stage) at least 90 minutes prior to start time for load-in
3.    Band will set up equipment and perform sound check (when applicable) prior to start time
4.    If performance is outdoors, client/employer will furnish appropriate weather shelter for band
5.    If outdoors, parking should be available nearby for quick loading of electrical equipment due to bad weather
6.    The band reserves the right to terminate performance due to dangerous weather and/or environmental conditions
7.    Employer will furnish easy access (within 50ft of performance area) to stable 120V AC Power source, (2) 20A circuits, (4) outlets
8.    Band performance time is adjustable. Normally, the band performs for 45 minutes with a 15 minute break for each hour.
9.    During break the client/employer has the option to furnish alternative music otherwise band can furnish music during break
10.   Band will allow private home-use recording of performance or portions thereof for non-commercial play
11.   Band may bring supporting personnel as required for performance
12.   Band may furnish promotional material (Business cards, posters, CD's, etc.)
13.   Any overtime performance will be $300.00 per hour payable in cash

This contract constitutes a complete and binding agreement between the employer and the musician (s). The persons signing this
contract and the parties they represent agree to be liable for adherence to the terms of this contract. The agreement of the band to
perform is subject to: sickness; accidents; riots; strikes; epidemics; snow storms; hurricanes; flooding; other natural disasters;
acts of war/terrorism; the second coming and other acts of God or any other legitimate conditions beyond their control.
