REALMOTOR RENTAL TERMS
Terms and conditions of the rental cars and trailers etc. owned by Realmotor. 1. Rental terms Customer should have a valid driver’s license and at least one year's driving experience. The customer is responsible for cause of fines and parking violation citations. Rental prices do not include fuel. The car is delivered and received with a filled tank. 2. Use of Car Customer must take care of the car as it was their own and be particularly careful and cautious when using it. The customer is the vehicle’s driver. Another person may drive it only if the rental agreement allows it. The driver undertakes to use the car only for the purposes of the normal manner. The car may not be used for towing, races, driving on the ice, driving lessons or for illegal purposes. When leaving the car, it must always be locked. The car should be inspected prior to the leasing of both parts action, so that any damage can be recorded into the agreement. 3. Customer excess/deductible Customer is obliged to pay the damages up to the excess/deductible. Customer must reimburse the car and equipment damage, as well as any lost parts and equipment. If the car is very dirty, customer must also clean the car or reimburse for the cleaning of the car. Smoking and the transport of animals free in the car is prohibited. The customer's excess/deductible of cars is € 500-700 and for trailers € 300. 4. The customer's responsibility in case of accident If the damage has been caused intentionally, or the injury happened in the customer's infringement of the law (for example, the driver was drunk or under the authority of drugs), or the customer is clearly violating the terms of the agreement, he must replace all the damage. 5. Customers required actions during fault-, damage- and theft cases Customer must immediately inform the rental company if the car has encountered an accident or a theft or if there appears to be faults in the car. If the car or any equipment has been stolen, the police must be informed immediately. In case of a traffic accident, the customer must promptly inform the rental company. If it is unclear who is responsible of cause of damage, the customer must contact the police. A notification to the police must always be done in the case of personal injury or deer accident. 6. Return of vehicle when the rental period expire The car has to be returned to the agreed place when the agreed rental period expires. If the customer fails in this, the rental company may charge a fair compensation for any financial losses caused by the delay of return. If the car has not been returned when the rental period expires, and it has not been agreed of any extending of the rental period, the police will be informed. No vehicles will be allowed to travel outside the Finnish borders, unless the rental contract allows it. 7. Termination The rental company have the right to annul the rental agreement during the rental period, if it becomes apparent that the customer is violating the rules of this contract, or is incapable of handling the car in a proper way. If the car is not usable anymore as a result of damage or theft, the contract will be annulled as soon as the rental company receives a notification of damage or theft. If the rental company should annul the contract, the driver is obliged to return the car to the rental company without delay.
8. The responsibility of the rental company If a technical or other error occur while the car is being leased, the customer may require the problem to be fixed or a lower rental price. If there is a major problem or error with the car, the customer have the right to cancel the rental contract. The contract can not be discharged if the problem will be corrected in a reasonable period of time. Realmotor is not responsible for financial losses caused by an interruption of a trip due to an error in the car. 9. Reservation withdrawal Customer may cancel the booking free of charge if this happens at least 48h before the agreed time of rental. Otherwise, the withdrawal fee is € 50. 10. Conflicts regarding the contract Disagreements are intended to be solved primarily by discussion. If the disagreements are taken to be solved by the court, the legal proceedings must be raised in the local principal trial court of the rental company.
