This calculation sheet is designed to use the existing center line elevation of the alley and provide the range of elevations

property line and distance from property line to parking area in compliance with the Land Use Code 23.54.030, including
vertical curves in Exhibit 23.54.030 (C).
To use this sheet do the following:
1. Measure the elevation of the center of the Alley directly in front of the proposed parking area.
2. Enter the elevation in the green box below the text "Alley centerline elevation"
3. Enter the distance from the Alley center to the property line in the green box [If the Alley Right-of-way is less than the
minimum, then use half (1/2) the required width (See Table 9 of Seattle Street Improvment Manual) as the distance from
the centerline of alley to the setback or new property line of the alley]
4. Enter the value representing the distance between the property line and the parking area in the other green box.
5. Press enter.
