Allegacy Federal Credit Union is one of the largest credit unions in North
Carolina, with members throughout the world. With over 110,000 members and
$1 billion in assets, Allegacy offers most consumer and business financial
services in addition to a number of subsidiary services such as Co-operative
Payroll Solutions, Advanced Fraud Solutions, JBA Benefits and Allegacy Realty.

Allegacy was founded in 1967 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina to serve the
employees of R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, but now serves the employees,
retirees, and families of over 550 companies throughout the country.

Allegacy is the chosen financial institution for the major employers in the Triad,
including: Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, Novant Health, Wake
Forest University and Womble, Carlyle, Sandridge, and Rice to name a few.

Although Allegacy has many sponsor companies who offer credit union services
to their employees and retirees, Allegacy is not owned by any sponsor company.
They are a not-for-profit financial cooperative owned by their members.
