Thank you for renting barcode scanning equipment from Barcode Scanner Rental Services, LLC (BSRS). Please fax or email this agreement back as soon as possible so that we can schedule your order. Rental Period The rental period (seven calendar days) begins on ___/___/___ and ends on ___/___/___. The equipment will be sent so that it arrives prior to the rental start date. Return of Goods Please send the scanning equipment back to us on or before the rental end date shown above. We suggest that UPS or Fedex be used because these services allow for complete tracking. Insurance is also suggested. Late Penalties and Default If the units are not returned on the rental end date, a $10.00 per day per unit charge will be applied. If we are not able to contact you within one week after the due date to arrange a return date for the units, there will be a charge of $650.00 per unit to your credit card. Damage The renter shall, during the rental term keep and maintain the above described equipment in good condition and shall be responsible for any loss, casualty or damage to the equipment. The renter agrees to return said property in its present condition, reasonable wear and tear excepted. The renter agrees to pay up to $650.00 per unit for any equipment that is returned damaged. To avoid damage during shipping, please pack all units similarly to the way they were sent to you. Liability Issues The Lessee (you) and any other user of the equipment that you designate, agree to defend and hold BSRS harmless from any and all claims, liabilities, losses and costs (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of the use of the equipment rented. If BSRS should be found to be negligent in any way, its liability will be limited to the total rental costs paid by the Lessee.
