Selection

      Fresh food products will be utilized to make in-house recipes.
      We offer soup, salads, three entrees with accompaniments, and desserts daily.
      Vegetarian meals will be available upon request.
      Smaller or larger portions will be available upon request.
      Fresh fruit will be available at all meals.
      Heart healthy options will be available.
      Take-out is available.
      Guests are welcome to dine with you. If you will have more than four people in
       your party, please notify us in advance (869-6706) so that we may have seating
       reserved for you. Sample of guest meal prices:

Level of Service

The Brandywine Room offers full service with a host/hostess. The Delaware Room
offers buffet service with a host/hostess. The Cattail Café is self-service.

Take Out
Self-service take out is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner in the Cattail Café
Monday-Friday. Take out dinner is available 7 days a week in the Delaware Room by
calling 610-869-6713 please leave a detailed message a minimum of 1 hr. prior to the
beginning of the meal. Pick up will be available in the Delaware room at your specified
time. (See hostess for pick up)

Guests
You are welcome to bring guests to dine with you in the dining room for breakfast, lunch,
or dinner. We ask that you notify the hostess or call us at 869-6706 in advance if:
                1. You will have more than four in your party.
                2. You are bringing guests to Sunday Brunch, we ask that you make your
                   reservation for 12:00or 2:00 to enable us to use the table more than
                   once during the meal.
                3. You will require special items such as birthday cakes or special dietary
                   needs. Any of these items need to be ordered a week in advance.
                4. You are bringing guests for holidays or special event days.
Catering
Catering services and menus are available please contact Kim McClay or Crystal
Margerison.
Special Dietary Needs
If you should have special dietary needs or restrictions please call Crystal Margerison to
set up an appointment with Matt Jones to establish acceptable meals for you. Every
effort will be made to accommodate your special needs.
Meal Service During Illness
Please follow procedures for Take Out meals, being sure to include your address and
telephone number. A staff person or the bus driver will deliver your meal. See your
Continuing Care Agreement; section VIII, B for additional details.
Vacation/Absence
For an extended absence of 30 days or longer, residents are permitted to end their quarter;
however no money is carried over.
Additional Information and Services
        Dining Office Hours offers open dining office hours every Tuesday at 12:30pm-
         2:30pm.
        New Resident Orientation is on the second Thursday of each month in the
         Delaware Dining Room at 1:00pm.
        There is a resident full service luncheon by reservation only on the third
         Wednesday of the month in the Brandywine Dining Room.
        Monday-Saturday at 1:15pm, any left over hot food will be available for $1.00 per
         container, this is on a first come first serve basis.
        Dining Services offer quarterly kitchen tours in January, April, July, and October.
        Quarterly Reconciliation is to be done before the month ends with Crystal
         Margerison or Kim McClay.
        Quarter 1 is residents whose last names begin with A-H. Your quarters end
         March, June, September, and December
        Quarter 2 are residents whose last names begin with I-Q. Your quarters end
         January, April, July, October
        Quarter 3 are residents whose last names begin with R-Z. Your quarters end
         February, May, August, and November

 A la Carte Continental Breakfast is offered Monday through Friday in the Cattail
                              Café from 8:30am-10:00am
Thursday and Saturday Breakfast is offered in the Cattail Café beginning at 8:30am
                               and is served until 9:30am
               Lunch begins at 11:30am and is served until 1:00pm
               Dinner begins at 5:00pm and is served until 7:00pm
     *** The Cattail Café is located in the Alison building on the Ground Floor***

                        The Cattail Café offers Casual Dining.
  Featuring gourmet takeout items, wood fired pizzas, and a coffee espresso and ice cream bar.

               Dinner begins at 5:00pm and is served until 7:00pm
           Sunday Brunch begins at 12:00pm and is served until 3:00pm

One Meal Per Day Program. You may choose to use your daily meal allowance at
any meal period. Under this plan, residents do not receive credit for missed meals
with the exception of long-term absences. The exception would be hospitalization, in
which case credit would begin immediately. Guest meals, café meals, and private-
dining meals are additional charges. This option costs $222.60 for Tier One, and
$272.60 for Tier Two, per person monthly.

Flex Program 1 meal program allows residents to choose how they spend their
flexdollars. The flexdollars may be spent in any of the five dining areas, special
functions, take out, or guest meals. There is no credit for unused dollars.
Flexdollars may be carried over from one month to the next within any quarter, but
may not be carried over into the following quarter. The cost of this option is $124
per person monthly.

flexdollars. The flexdollars may be spent in any of the five dining areas, special
functions, take out, or guest meals. There is no credit for unused dollars.
