The London Underground Projects Directorate is responsible for the successful delivery of
London Underground Limited (LUL) projects and those of the PPP Infraco contractors, PFI
suppliers, or other third party suppliers. These are truly massive endeavours - over the next nine
years the value of the projects runs in to £billions - and they will be delivered by teams of the very
best programme and project management professionals in the business. This is your opportunity
to be one of them.

We are currently performing a £300m programme of work at Tottenham Court Road Underground
Station. Already one of the busiest stations on the network it serves around 150,000 customers a
day and by 2017it’s expected this number will exceed 200,000.

Join us in the role of Construction Project Planning Manager, Tottenham Court Road and you will
take specific responsibility for the evaluation of the methodology and construction programmes
submitted by the contractor under the NEC3 contract. More generally, you'll assume responsibility
for the delivery of viable project or multi-project plans developed by your own team and by
contractors.

For this career-defining senior management role it is essential that you are highly experienced in
working on large, complex, safety focused and regulated construction projects, leading and
managing a range of major project plans delivered by multiple contractors. To be successful you
must have proven experience in multi disciplined projects (heavy civil, tunnelling, M&E and rail)
with a good understanding of construction methods, production rates and sequencing. Ideally you
will have worked within a contracting organisation on major contracts c£100m+ and at this level
extensive knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM) planning techniques and Earned Value
Management methodology are a given. Experience in operational stations will enhance your
application.

In return for your skills we offer not only one of the best reward and benefits packages in the
market, but also the chance to deliver some of the most significant, high-profile and career-
defining civil infrastructure projects anywhere in Europe.
