    Includes direct observation of and participation in teaching English as a second language under the supervision of an ESL classroom teacher,
    totaling 30 clock hours. This observation and participation must be distributed among levels of instruction and types of ESL programs in public
    school settings and are in addition to any observations or field-experience hours that are required as a part of a certification program.
