									Dear Teacher in Charge of Girls Football

English Schools Football Association Girls Primary Seven -A-Side Football
Competition

With reference to the above I have great pleasure in enclosing information
relating to the City of Sunderland Primary Schools Competition which will take
place on Thursday 5 November 2009 form 12.30 – 3.00pm at Houghton Kepier
Sports College (outdoors on the third generation pitch).

The purpose of the ESFA Competition is to find a school from each of the three
Primary Schools Football Associations (Lambton and Hetton, Sunderland and
Washington) to go forward to the Durham County Schools Football Association
Competition to be held on Tuesday 8 December 2009 form 4.00 – 6.00pm at
Houghton Kepier Sports College. The winners of the County Round will go
forward to the North Round in March 2010 with the winners then going on to
represent the North at the National Finals in April 2010.

If you wish to enter a team/s, please complete the enclosed entry form and return
it as directed no later than Friday 16 October 2009.

Please note that places are limited therefore entry forms will be accepted on a
‘first come, first served’ basis.

     CITY OF SUNDERLAND GIRLS PRIMARY SCHOOL COMPETITION
                HOUGHTON KEPIER SPORTS COLLEGE
           THURSDAY 5 NOVEMBER 2009, 12.30PM – 3.00PM

ELIGIBILITY: The Competition is for girls in Year 5 or 6.
All players must attend a school within the City of Sunderland boundaries.

FORMAT: Teams will take part in an Inter Schools Competition.

All teams must be affiliated to their local Primary Schools Football
Association
If you require any assistance with affiliating your school to the appropriate
schools football association please contact:

SQUADS: Each squad will consist of 10 players, with 7 playing at any one time,
1 of whom shall be a goalkeeper.

ENGLISH SCHOOLS FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION GIRLS PRIMARY SEVEN-A-
SIDE FOOTBALL COMPETITION 2009- 2010: The highest placed team from
each of the three Primary Schools Football Associations (Lambton and Hetton,
Sunderland and Washington) will go on to the County Durham round of the
English Schools Football Association Girls Primary Seven a Side Competition
which will be held on Tuesday 8 December 2009 form 4.00 – 6.00pm at
Houghton Kepier Sports College.

ORGANISATION: Sunderland Schools Competition Manager will administer the
Competition.

RULES AND REGULATIONS: Games will be played according to the normal
Rules of Small Sided Football as issued by the Football Association.

CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES: If you wish to enter a team/s, please complete
and return the enclosed entry form to Yvonne Setchell, Sunderland Schools
