Applications are accepted between 15.06.09 and 17.07.09. Applications received after this date
cannot be considered. Students will be notified of the decision by email.

The Summer Hardship Fund is open to both full-time and part-time home/UK students who are
unable to work during the summer vacation.

In order to qualify for support students must be enrolled on a course at the University.

Eligible students must show that they are in hardship AND they are unable to work for all or part of
the summer period due to either (1) childcare responsibilities (2) disability (3) medical reasons or
(4) because they have referred or deferred modules, or are re-sitting exams.
Summer Hardship Fund awards are not an automatic entitlement. They are assessed on
an individual basis and students must provide evidence to show that they are eligible.

Students who are eligible for full Benefits for the entire summer vacation are unlikely to
       qualify for an award.
Students who live with their partner must provide evidence of the FULL household income.
