The Pitney Bowes Business Center is conveniently located on the Bronze, Concourse
Level of the East Tower of the hotel. The following services are available:

  CHECK-IN
  Hyatt Regency Chicago’s check-in time is 3:00 p.m. Room assignments prior to that time
  are based on availability.

  CHECK-OUT
  Check-out time is 12:00 noon. Several options are available when checking out:

      Video check-out: This option is available on the guest room television. Simply follow
       the on-screen instructions and pick up a receipt at the Gold Passport Desk.

      Express check-out *6000 : Dial 6000 on the in-room telephone and follow the
       instructions on the voicemail system.

  Charges will be assessed to guests who check out before their scheduled day of departure
  or check out after 12:00 noon.

      Take Interstate 290 East all the way into the city.
      Once the expressway ends, you will automatically be on Congress Blvd.
      Continue (east) on Congress to Michigan Ave, and make a left turn (north).
      Proceed on Michigan to Wacker Dr. (immediately before the river – do not cross
       the river) and make a right turn (east).
      Proceed on Wacker Dr. to Stetson St. and make a right turn (south).
      Make a left turn into the East Tower Drive, or pull up on the right to the West
       Tower Door for valet parking.

               NORTH BOUND DIRECTIONS (FROM THE SOUTH)
                         TO HYATT REGENCY CHICAGO
      Take Interstate 94 W to the Washington St. exit.
      Make a right turn on Washington
      Proceed on Washington to Michigan Ave. and make a left turn (north).
      Proceed on Michigan to Wacker Dr. (immediately before the river – do not cross
       the river)and make a right turn (east).
      Proceed on Wacker Dr. to Stetson St. and make a right turn (south).
      Make a left turn into the East Tower Drive, or pull up on the right to the West

               SOUTH BOUND DIRECTIONS (FROM THE NORTH)
                         TO HYATT REGENCY CHICAGO
      Take Interstate 94 E to the Washington St. exit
   Make a left turn on Washington

                        TO HYATT REGENCY CHICAGO
   Take Lake Shore Dr. North to Wacker Dr. (be sure to watch the signs so you
    don’t take Randolph by accident).
   Go left on Wacker Dr. and take the ramp up (on the right) so that you are on
    upper Wacker Dr.
   Make a left turn on Stetson St., which is the second light.
   Make a left turn into the East Tower Drive, or pull up on the right to the West
    Tower Door.


       SOUTH BOUND DIRECTIONS (FROM LAKE SHORE DRIVE)
                       TO HYATT REGENCY CHICAGO
   Take Lake Shore Dr. South to Wacker Dr. (the large brown sign will read
    “Wacker, Grand, Illinois, Navy Pier”).
   The exit ramp will take you to the lower level Lake Shore Dr. bridge crossing the
    river. Do not turn right at the bottom of the exit ramp. Instead head straight
    through the light. This will lead you to lower Lake Shore Drive. Stay to the right
    as you go over the bridge.
   Make a right turn onto Wacker Dr. immediately after crossing the river.
   Take the Wacker ramp up (on the right) so that you are on upper Wacker Dr.
   Make a left turn on Stetson St., which is the second light.
   Make a left turn into the East Tower Drive, or pull up on the right to the West
    Tower Door.

PARKING
The hotel has valet parking located in the lower level of each tower. The height clearance
is 6’8”. The current parking (June 2005) rate is $39.00 per day for 24 hours with in/out
privileges and the Morning Special is $16.00. In addition to our parking facilities, several
satellite parking lots are available in the Illinois Center vicinity for overflow, or especially
large events and groups.


FITNESS CENTER
Hyatt Regency Chicago is pleased to offer guests an in-house Fitness Center that includes
treadmills, LifeCycle exercise bicycles, weights and more. The Fitness Center is
exclusively for hotel guest. Open 5am to 11pm Daily. If a larger fitness center is needed
the hotel recommends Lake Shore Athletic Club.

Lake Shore Athletic Club is conveniently located just South of the Hyatt Regency Chicago
within walking distance (211 N. Stetson Avenue - 312-616-9000). The cost for a one-day
pass is $20. The cost for a five-day pass is $75. Adults only please.

Hours of Operation
Monday-Friday: 5:15 a.m.-10:00 p.m.
Saturday-Sunday: 8:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICE
Hyatt Regency Chicago is responsible for the quality and freshness of the food served to its
guests. Therefore, large quantity food and beverage may not be brought into the hotel from
outside sources.

Please note that the State of Illinois Liquor Commission regulates all alcoholic beverage
sales and services. The hotel, as licensee, is responsible for the administration of these
regulations. It is a hotel policy that alcoholic beverages may not be brought into the hotel
from outside sources. All dispensing of alcoholic beverages must be done by Hyatt
Regency Chicago employees, and not by patrons of the hotel.

Currently a 20% service charge and 10.25% sales tax will be added to all banquet food and
beverage charges. Hospitality Suites are currently assessed a 20% service charge and
10.25% sales tax. An additional 3% sales tax is added to soft drinks and non-alcoholic
bottled beverages. Please note that a portion of the gratuity is also taxable by Illinois State
Law.

A $50.00 service charge is added to all food and beverage charges for groups of less than
(30) guests. Labor fees for bartenders are $125.00 for the first 3 hours, and $25.00 for each
additional hour. Labor fees for cashiers are $75.00 for the first 3 hours, and $20.00 for each
additional hour.

Please note that all prices are subject to change. Guaranteed pricing will be provided six
months prior to your event/convention.
For specifications on your group, please see a HRC Convention Services Manager or Sales
Manager.

Box Lunches
We are happy to coordinate box lunches, snacks to go and special meals for your group to
take to special events.
Contact your Catering or Convention Services Manager for menus and prices.

HOUSEKEEPING
The following items are available upon request from Housekeeping:
   *        Rollaway Beds ($25.00 per day)
   *        Emergency Toiletry Kits
   *        Pack-n-Play (a limited supply is available)
   *        Refrigerators (a limited supply is available) ($25.00 per day)

A turndown service is available upon request. The suggested housekeeping gratuity is
$2.50 per room per night. Should you require specific room refresh times for key
convention attendees, please advise your Convention Services Manager for arrangements.
KEYS FOR MEETING ROOMS
Keys for any meeting, office or hospitality room will be provided upon request. Key
issuance ensures the room is locked but not secured.

If you are requesting locks to be changed there will be a $100.00 per lock fee. This should
be arranged at least two weeks in advance.

Although the rooms are locked, the Hyatt Regency Chicago cannot be responsible for
items left in these rooms.

MINI BAR/IN-ROOM BAR
Each guest room is equipped with a mini-bar for your convenience. The bar contains
miniature bottles of liquor, beer, soda, wine and snacks.
Mini-bars are restocked on a daily basis and charged to your account upon removal from
mini-bar. If you need to have products completely removed from the bar, there is a
$100.00 removal charge. If you need assistance or have additional questions, please call
the Servibar Department at extension 4431.

NEWSPAPERS AND PUBLICATION DELIVERY
Gold Passport Members and Diamond Members receive USA Today on weekdays.
Newspapers may also be purchased in W.H. Smith, located in the East Tower on the Plaza
Level.

If your group needs a publication delivered to a guest room, a charge of $2.50 for outside
each room and $3.50 delivered inside the room will apply. Contact your Convention
Service or Catering Manager for further assistance.




PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
Airport Transportation
Groups and VIPS
Motor Coaches, Mini Coaches, Sedans, Limos, Specialty Cars and Greeter Service can all
be arranged for you. Please contact our in-house event specialists: Eved Services at 312-

Continental Airport Express
Continental Airport Express provides shuttle service for guests of Hyatt Regency Chicago.
The shuttle may be picked up curbside in the “ground transportation” areas at both O’Hare
and Midway Airports. They depart regularly from both airports, pending full vans. 312-
454-7800 or 1-800-654-7871.

Return shuttles to both airports may be picked up from the West Tower Lobby.

The O’Hare shuttle may be picked up at five minutes and thirty-five minutes after every
hour, beginning at 6:05 a.m. and ending at 6:05 p.m. The cost is $24.00 per person one-
way, and $44.00 per person round trip. If traveling outside these times call to make a
reservation.

The Midway shuttle may be picked up at fifteen minutes and forty-five minutes after every
hour, beginning at 6:15 a.m. and ending at 6:15 p.m. The cost is $19.00 per person one-
way, and $34.00 per person round trip. If traveling outside these times call to make a
reservation.

Please note that the shuttle will stop at other hotels en route to and from the airport.

Taxi Cabs
If you wish to take a cab from the airport, estimate $40 to or from O’Hare, and $30 to or
from Midway. A “shared cab” service is available to major downtown hotels.

Public Transportation
To get to and from O’Hare you can take the Blue Line on the CTA and the cost is $1.75
each way. The closet stop to the hotel is at Clark and Lake, about a 6 block walk or $5 cab
ride. To walk, exit the station and walk east on Lake (following the elevated tracks) to
Michigan Ave. Turn left onto Michigan and walk north to Wacker Dr. Do not cross over
the Chicago River bridge. Turn right onto Wacker heading east. Turn right onto Stetson
St. and enter the hotel’s East Tower. Proceed up the escalator to the Front Desk for
registration.

To get to and from Midway you can take the Orange Line on the CTA and the cost is $1.75
each way. The closet stop to the hotel is at State and Lake, about a 4 block walk or $4 cab
ride. . To walk, exit the station and walk east on Lake (following the elevated tracks) to
Michigan Ave. Turn left onto Michigan and walk north to Wacker Dr. Do not cross over
the Chicago River bridge. Turn right onto Wacker heading east. Turn right onto Stetson
St. and enter the hotel’s East Tower. Proceed up the escalator to the Front Desk for
registration.
To access the CTA in both airports, follow the signs in the airport directing you to “CTA.”
Only one line leaves from each airport (Midway = Orange and O’Hare = Blue) and only
runs in one direction, so you cannot get on the wrong train. You must purchase a CTA
pass using the kiosk at the station – use this pass to gain access through the turn-styles.

Buses and Trains

The bus and train system offers a quick and easy way to get around the city. There are no
hassles with parking or traffic -- just sit back, relax and enjoy the sights of Chicago.

The fare is $1.75. Transfers are required when changing from bus to train service and vice
versa. The transfer fare is and additional $0.25 to the initial $1.75. Transfers are not
required from train to train. Exact fare is required on all buses. The CTA also operates the
elevated trains (the “L”) throughout the city. For more information on routes and schedules

and Weekly passes can be purchased at the Chicago Cultural Center (See Tours and
Sightseeing for more info).

Taxis

Below is a listing of how taxicab fares are determined and paid in the City of Chicago
as of May 11, 2005:

   In Chicago, you pay the amount shown on the taximeter, plus any tolls,
   There is no extra charge for baggage or credit card use, and tipping is optional,
   The “flag pull” or initial charge is $2.25 for the first 1/9 mile,
   The additional fraction of a mile charge is $.20 for each additional 1/9 mile,
   Every 36 seconds of time elapsed is $.20,
   The flat fee for the first additional passenger is $1.00,
   The flat fee for each additional passenger, after the first additional passenger is
    $.50.

Commuter Train
The local commuter rail system in Illinois is the Metra Rail. Visit the website for current

Amtrak
Amtrak connections are located at Union Station and the Northwest Station, which are just
minutes from the hotel. For Amtrak rate and schedule information call 1-800-USA-RAIL

ROLLAWAY POLICY
Please be aware that Hyatt Regency Chicago’s policy limits the placement of rollaway
beds into guest rooms as follows:
 One rollaway is allowed in rooms with king-size beds.
 One rollaway is allowed in parlors.
Based on the fact that the size of the rooms do not allow space for additional beds, guest
requests for rollaways exceeding the above guidelines will be declined.

ROOM DELIVERY CHARGES
Delivery charges for non-perishable items, and items provided by organizations outside the
hotel are subject to bellman gratuities. It is important that the Bell Desk is given a
minimum 24-hour notice for large deliveries. Currently these rates are:

   *        $2.50 per item, per room delivery for each item placed underneath guest room
   doors.
   *        $3.50 per item, per room delivery for each item placed in the room.
   *        A polybag of 5 pieces under the door is $3.00.
   *        A polybag of 6-10 pieces under the door is $3.50.
   *        A polybag of 11-15 pieces under the door is $4.00.
   *        A polybag of 16-20 pieces under the door is $4.50.
   *        Polybags with more than 20 pieces will be evaluated and priced accordingly.

Please contact your Catering or Convention Services Manager for multi-piece deliveries or
special requests. These will be priced on a case-by-case basis.

ROPES AND STANCHIONS
A limited supply of ropes and stanchions are available for your convention needs. Please
note that these must be utilized in accordance with fire codes. Contact your Convention
Services Manager to make arrangements.

SAFETY DEPOSIT BOXES
Hyatt Regency Chicago recommends safety deposit boxes for the storage of valuables
located by the Front Desk. There is no charge for the use of a safety deposit box, and
guests have access to them 24 hours a day. Please contact the Front Desk at extension 50 to
make arrangements.

All packages must contain a label with the following information:

    *       Return address
    *       Name of group/convention
    *       Name of person who will claim the package
    *       Date of person’s arrival
    *       Date meeting is to be held and location in hotel
    *       Group contact (Convention Service or Catering Manager)

The hotel is not liable for the safe or timely arrival of packages sent to the hotel by or for
any group. The hotel accepts no liability for lost, stolen or damaged goods.

The hotel will not accept cash on delivery (C.O.D.) shipments. Please note that storage is
extremely limited. Upon arrival, please contact our Package Room at extension 6525 or
your Convention Services or Catering Manager to arrange for delivery.

Delivery of Federal Express, Airborne and UPS packages occurs daily at approximately
10:00 a.m. Packages are picked up daily at 5:00 p.m.

TAXES
The followings are required taxes that will be applied to your billing. These rates are
non-negotiable.
 10.25%       State and city tax applied to all services (food, beverage, rentals but not on
              gratuity).
  15.4%       Room tax (10.25% state and city tax and 5.15% occupancy tax).
              Occupancy tax is not subject to tax exemption
     20%      Gratuity charge for all food and beverage planned functions held in non-
              sleeping rooms (banquet & meeting rooms) and for off-premise events.
     20%      Gratuity charge for all food and beverage planned functions held in
              sleeping rooms/suites.
  3.5%        Meeting room rental tax
   3%         Soft drink tax applied to all non-alcoholic bottled products. (In addition to
              10.25% tax).

 TELEPHONES AND HOUSEPHONES
 Wall (House) phone
 A wall phone is found in every meeting room. Wall phones are for in-house calling only;
 access to outside dialing is not available. This service is provided at no charge. However,
 if an additional house phone is needed, the cost is $50.00 for installation, plus $50.00 per
 day rental charge.

 Desktop phone
 Desktop phones can be placed in meeting rooms for in-house use only. There is a $50.00
 per day charge.

 Speakerphones
   Speaker phone- $100.00 installation plus $75.00 per day rental charge.
   Polycom phone- $250.00 installation plus $100.00 per day rental charge
   Expanded Polycom phone- $350.00 installation plus $150.00 per day rental
    charge
   Change fee- $75.00, there will be a change fee accessed to all lines that need to be
    moved/changed.

***Please note the above pricing does not include per call/ line usage fees.***

 Phone line with Local and Log Distance (NON DID)
 A Phone line (Non DID) provides you with local and long distance access. The charges for
 these services are:

     $75.00 for installation, plus the cost of calls
     $65.00 for each day usage fee, plus the cost of calls

  ** If Programming or Multiple line phones are required, there is a $50.00 one-time charge.
  ** If Voicemail is required, there is a $25.00 one-time charge.

 DID (Direct Inward Dialing) – Fax machines, Speakerphones…etc
DID provide you with local and long distance access. You may also dial directly from
outside the hotel without going through the hotel switchboard. The charges for these
services are:

   $100.00 for installation, plus the cost of calls
   $75.00 for each day usage fee, plus the cost of calls

Modem Line
Modem lines for computer access are $75.00 installation charge, $65.00 per day rental
charge, plus the cost of calls.
