William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Elections Division Notice Under Section 14 of Chapter 179 of the Acts of 2007 To All Interested Persons: As a result of the change of date for the presidential preference primary (Chapter 179 of the Acts of 2007) certain other dates and deadlines were required to be changed. Pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws chapter 53, section 70F, the city and town clerks shall canvass the records of votes cast at the presidential primary within four days after the primary.
