COMPARE Table Update Pre-Release Notice Master and Study Tables

N.2008.03.02 SRN Current Status Published 13 Mar 2008 Article The Office of the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense (Installations & Environment) Housing & Competitive Sourcing Office, the COMPARE software Executive Agent announces the planned release of updates to COMPARE tables 7, 8, and 14. The changes apply to the civilian position full fringe benefit cost factor, the Health and Insurance Benefits Factor, the Retirement Benefits Factors, the annual federal pay raise assumptions, Organizational and Maintenance (O&M) inflation cost factors, and tax rate information. Release is contingent upon OMB's publication of the changes in the Federal Register and successful testing of COMAPRE v3.3 for release. These table updates will coincide with the release of COMPARE v3.3. A subsequent email release notice will be distributed by our office to announce the exact time and date of updated tables availability. The Department of Defense (Office of the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense (Installations & Environment) Housing & Competitive Sourcing) is providing a headsup COMPARE notice of the pending release of the COMPARE Version 3.3 upgrade, which includes updates to COMPARE Master Tables 7, 8, and 14. The projected timeframe is toward the end of next week but is contingent upon OMB's Federal Register publication of their annual Transmittal Memo that updates the Civilian Position Full Fringe Benefit Cost Factor, Federal Pay Raise Assumptions, Inflation Factors, and Tax Rates. COMPARE Version 3.3 will include the following cost factor updates: Table 7: civilian position full fringe benefit cost factor, health and insurance benefit cost factor, and retirement benefits cost factors Table 8: annual federal pay raise assumptions (i.e., civilian & military labor inflation factors), and non-labor inflation factors (operations and maintenance (O&M) inflation factors) Table 14: tax rates A subsequent e-mail COMPARE RELEASE NOTICE will be distributed by our office to announce the exact time and date that COMPARE Version 3.3 will be available.
