Network services: International point-to-point telecommunications bandwidth services are sought with the following options: i. between the national research networks of EUMEDIS beneficiary countries (Algeria, Cyprus, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Malta, Morocco, the Palestinian Authority, Syria, Tunisia and Turkey); ii. between those points listed in i.) above and points on the GÉANT network, probably in France, Greece, Italy and/or Spain; iii. proposals and timescales for possible upgrades to capacity supplied. The bandwidth will be used to transport Internet traffic solely for research, educational and other non-commercial purposes. Bandwidth capacities of individual circuits are expected to be between 2 and 155 Mbps, procured either as whole (preferably) or half circuits. The topology will be developed in the light of the results of the procurement. Equipment housing: Provision of space for equipment location, including provision of power, air conditioning, limited technical support and secure access. A willingness to allow the connection of any third party connectivity is required.
