                Planning to Transfer Next Semester

“Important”- Introduce yourself, state your major and the
semester you are in and why you are interested in their college.

Some questions you may want to ask:
If you have applied and been accepted to the college:
 When will I receive my Transfer Credit Evaluation? (If you have
received this evaluation, you may want them to explain it to you.)
 Do you have a Transfer Orientation?
 How do I select my courses for the fall semester?
 What Financial Aid Forms are required and when does my FAFSA
          need to be filed?
 Are there scholarships for Transfer Students? If yes, how do I
          apply?
 When should I expect to receive my financial aid package?
 How do I select my type of Housing? Is there an off-campus
          “Housing List?”

If you have applied but not heard from the college:
 When should I expect to receive a decision?
 Is there are Part II or Supplemental Application that I need to
          complete?
 Is there any additional information I should provide such as mid-term
          grades?
 Do you have a Transfer Open House?
 What Financial Aid Forms are required and when does my FAFSA
          need to be filed?
 Would a campus visit improve my chances of being accepted?

If you have not yet applied for next semester:
 What is the application deadline for next semester?
 What GPA does your college expect for transfer students?
 What Financial Aid Forms are required and when does my FAFSA
          need to be filed?
 Where can I get an application? Should I apply on-line?
