A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT FOR THE PUBLIC DISPLAY OF FIREWORKS
     THAT CULMINATES THE TOWN OF NISKAYUNA NISKA-DAY CELEBRATION

      The following resolution was offered by Councilwoman Freund
who moved its adoption and seconded by

       BE IT ENACTED, by the Town Board of the Town of Niskayuna, as follows:

        WHEREAS, the Niskayuna Community Action Program (NCAP) is sponsoring the
fireworks display that will culminate the celebration of Niska-Day, and

        WHEREAS, this Town Board has, as in previous years, made provisions to participate
financially in this display of fireworks for the Niska-Day celebration,

       NOW THEREFORE, be it hereby

       RESOLVED, that this Town Board does hereby authorize the Supervisor to enter into a
contract with Empire State Fireworks Mfg. Co., Inc., PO Box 3507, Schenectady, NY 12303 to
provide the fireworks display that culminates the Niska-Day celebration, at a cost not to exceed
$6,000.00, pursuant to the terms and conditions outlined in the Town Code.
