   •   Leave from Hanover Courthouse on Route 301

Directions To The Government Complex (and Courthouse)
The Hanover County Government Complex address is 7497 County Complex Rd. It is
located approximately 5 miles east of the Town of Ashland, just south of the
intersection of Rts. 54 and 301.
From I-95: take Exit 92 (Rt. 54 East) towards Hanover. Travel approximately 5 miles
to the intersection with Rt. 301. Turn right onto Rt. 301. Travel approximately one-half
mile and turn left onto County Complex Rd.

   •   Morning buses will leave at 9:00 and return by noon
   •   Afternoon buses will leave at 1:00 and return by 4:00
   •   2 buses will tour the Western part of the County at each time
   •   2 buses will tour the Eastern part of the County at each time
   •   Spaces limited : first come, first served
   •   Hanover Tavern will be open for tours and lunch before and after each tour
          o Contact: 537-5050
   •   $10 per person per tour – no refunds
   •   No tickets will be sent
   •   Not recommended for children under 6 years of age
   •   Drinks and snacks will be provided on bus

          o Each bus will have a narrator
          o West – Key sights include, but not limited to

                      St. Paul’s Episcopal Church
                      Hickory Hill
            North Anna Battlefield County Park
            Beaverdam Depot
            Sycamore Tavern
            Randolph Macon College
            Slash Church
   o East – Key sights include, but not limited to
            Hanover Courthouse
            Hanover Tavern
            Follow Civil War Trails
            Hanover Town
            Marlbourne House
            Immanuel Episcopal Church
            Holts Corner
            The Fields at Cold Harbor
            Cold Harbor National Cemetery
            Cold Harbor National Battlefield Park
            Wisconsin Monument
            Polegreen Church
            Patrick Henry Birthplace
            Enon Unite Methodist Church
            Salem Presbyterian Church
   o See sights from the bus only, information will be given in order to visit
     during own time
   o Stop for restroom and stretch break on each tour
            West: Scotchtown & possibly Sycamore Tavern
            East: Cold Harbor National Battlefield Park
