Mentor Assignments

Between each mentor session, the mentee will need to complete a specified number of session journals plus an assignment. The
number of session journals will not exceed 8 with the number determined by the mentor based upon what is needed to assist with
substantive mentor sessions. The assignments are designed to provide a learning experience focused on the mentoring objectives and
the mentee’s professional development goals. Types of assignments may include specific journaling on a focus area, experiential
activities with journal of experience, videos or tape recordings of sessions which mentee reviews on self, submit SPUD’S sheets of
sessions, mentee develops an assignment to address a mentoring objective, etc. If the mentee has a concern about an assignment, this
may be discussed with the mentor and other options discussed.
