Registration Requirements              (This shall not apply to a candidate of a political participating in its first direct primary election subsequent to its
qualification as a political party pursuant to Section 5100.)

                        1. Be registered with the political party, as shown by affidavit of registration, continuously for not less than three months
                             immediately prior to filing nomination documents (Applicable to registered voters with a prior registration and
                             party affiliation as Decline to State or registered with an unqualified party, then re-registered with a qualifying
                             party for three months on or before December 12, 2009).

                        2.   Eligible to register for less than three months OR as long as he or she has been eligible to register to vote in California
                             (Applicable to new residents, new citizens and anyone turning 18 years old after December 12, 2009).
