First chapter My Joining to Reliance Money It was my summer training started from 6 April 2008. I was to report to Mr. Jisu Sen Gupta, Center Manager of Reliance Money at Kanpur. On first day I was absent due to important work. My friend, Vivek Tiwari, My classmate at JIML, had joined the company one day earlier. It was exciting for me because I was going to join the corporate culture even for the 2 months. First day I went to office in formal dress like a real manager. I met Vivek near the main gate of the Building. Vivek was disappointed with Jisu Sen. He told me that there is nothing special in the organization. We are not cared. Everyone is busy in his or her own work. I told him “Now I am here, lets see who is not caring to us”. When I entered in the office, it looked like a general store. “Ok it is the culture of corporate, cost cutting”. There was a long sofa in the corner of the office for the customers. We sat there & waited for the Project guide, Mr. Jisu Sen Gupta. He came to us after 2 hour. We wished him, he told us to wait sometime but again he disappeared. I thought "this is corporate 1 person many jobs. Ok it could happen". Again after 2 hour he came to us and asked us to join the training. It was a product training. Mr. Manish was giving the training to a Franchisee partner. In a very boring way he started but ensured us that very soon he will come to the form. The franchisee person was getting bored because he knew those entire things that he was telling us. The subject was new for us so we were taking it seriously. Some part was bounced, some part was retained. All those things that he had taught us were normal but due to ignorance it seemed us very exiting. I thought I came to the right place. After the training session Mr. Jisu called us for personal introduction. He emphasized on "U". He told if you know yourself then you can get success at right path. Earlier it had happened with Vivek that Jisu had not cared him, he took him lightly. Vivek reported the behavior to his uncle in HDFC bank which was near the office. Now Jisu was giving him respect. He respected me also because I was open to learn every thing. Now it became evening so he told us to go. I was happy that I will gain lots of things from RM. Chapter 2 Two CEOs in the class On second day we were given the Product training, this time Mr. Abhay had taken the class. he is a wonderful Financial Analyst. He taught us about sensex, how it works. This was also so exciting for us because in first year, Sensex looks glamorous. Now Jisu Sir came to his form. He told us to make friendly relationship with everyone in the office. I thought that "the ragging days again came when our seniors used to push us to introduce ourselves again and again”. It was not a new thing for me I happily introduced myself before most of the people in the organization, and collected their phone numbers. I wanted to interact with Shikha Maam and Trupti Maam but he did not send me to them. Well the day was passed and we went back. The next day class was to be started in the morning. We thought that they only call us they themselves don’t come at right time. So we decided to come at our usual time 10 am. Next day we went there at 10am but the scenario was quite different. Four new summer trainees had joined the class I thought if I find any new girl here then it will be better but there was no new girl, the girls were from my college. I thought “Kismat hi khrab hai to kya kiya jay”. When we tried to join the class late, Abhay sir was disappointed with us. He didn’t allow us to join the class. Now what to do, the tough days started. it seemed to me like school days we are punished before all the people. Well our mentor Jisu sir came to us after 1 hour, we thought that he will also scold us but the scenario was different. He asked about the reason of not joining the class then asked us to join by asking the Abhay sir. But it was too late he was at the end of his lecture. He told us "Don’t worry, Just take it lightly, I will give you the real training". We were happy that “we are in the shadow of right person who will save us from these people”. After the training Abhay sir started reminding his knowledge. Suddenly he asked me about P/E ratio, Maslow's theory. In Maslows theory I was comfortable but in PE ratio I failed to explain. The financial analyst was disappointed & told to learn entire things myself at evening whatever is taught in that day’s class. I thought” College me to padha nahi lekin lagta hai yaha sab padhna padega, Uf finance peechha quo nahi chhodti"? After some time Jisu sir called us in the training room and taught us how to sell the Demat
account. He taught to sell the dreams. People will happily accept it. He told that for selling any thing first step is introduction we should first introduce ourselves then come to the purpose. We should also try to solve the problem of the customer & have empathy with him. We should start the conversation by talking about his problem because if we talk someone about his problem then he will certainly be interested in conversation. But first we should read the mood of the person before talking to him, if he is accepting us then start otherwise save our time. He also taught us to praise others & always search the point of appraisal, this will give us connectivity. The last but not the least he taught us to smile always, if we are not able to smile then say "Cheese" or "Paneeer". He also encouraged us to have the beautiful experience of sales. (Oh! Sales job is beautiful but only in the training room, OK?). We were full excited to go & crush the world. He gave us target of 50 Demat accounts in 30 days. (At that time we did not know that such big target is not expected even from the regular sales executives. Could be that we were special people!) Chapter 3 Two CEOs in the field of sales We thought to use marketing & searched for target customer. Many ideas came to the point but in reality no idea was successful. it looked challenging. i decided no matter what happens today i will sell at least 1 demat account. We took the Brochures, forms and went out to sell. First we went to KESCO. But at the gate the Gate keeper did not allow us. After asking the reason he replied that your purpose is not good you are going to disturb them. I got the problem. The problem was with our dress. I thought “Bloody! Perhaps he does not like a good personality that’s why he is a peon today and we are … (CEOs?)”. Then we thought “In the starting of every great deed the disturbers always come, If we don’t get obstacles then the success will be worthless”. I approached at least 15 people in 3 hours. People were interested but no one was willing to purchase. At last we got 2 complains for Reliance Money rather than getting single business. Still we were not demoralized. We thought that we got success that we are going to solve the two complains. We have achieved something for the company. Jisu sir was smiling on us (how bigger stupid we were!) at evening our battery was down.. “Oh! Abhay sir's assignment, Mar gaye”, Vivek told me "lets go away, he is not looking at us, Perhaps he forgot, tomorrow we will say that he was busy so we dint go there." I told" OK good idea lets go". Next day the training was to be started at the same time 10 am. We reached to office at 9 am. Again some new trainees had joined the RM. My friends Shailesh and Vaibhav had joined that day. Ok Abhay sir was taking the session but in the session he was teaching same thing. We taught “if we don’t join the class then Jisu sir will send me to Sell Demat, better will be if we join the class”. When we mergedwith the crowd, Abhay sir recognised me and without delay wished me Good morning, "Oho! I am not here to study finance, it’s not my specialization, please leave me, I hate finance", I thought in my mind. Well study is better than selling. I wished him good morning. The class started but as my expectation he asked me about the every topic whatever he wanted to teach to students. I had memorized. He tossed the topic and I explained it thoroughly. He got me. Well but every student was surprised & thought that I am a master of finance but for a week. After the session, he gave me Home work to study some more about the Finance. I thought,” I have left finance but this person will certainly make me master of his subject". (Interesting thing was that we must have noticed that after following him for a week I started understanding finance that I could not understand in the classroom. Finance looked me interesting subject.) Well Jisu sir asked us to go to field at 12pm afternoon in on 12 April. The weather itself was very tough but it was excitement that led us to put the best effort again. But where to go this thing was not taught to us. There was Taranjit maam, looking smart. Vivek prevented me to ask anything form her but I approached to her and ask about the sales opportunities. She thought that we are new but perhaps due to college seniors’ cooperation to her in her initial days, to a certain extent due to my smartness she impressed and was ready to help us but was not able to give a clear direction. We went to Karvy consultancy which is famous for the same business. We were frightened that we are at our competitor’s territory. Well most of the people were disappointed with Karvy, this made the opportunity for us. Earlier with some hesitation we approached to some people cautiously because we had fear that if unfortunately we talk to an employee of Karvy then he can punish us. We found many contacts but not successful sale. There was a tree under which we
used to sit and approached to people. But we were not satisfied with our performance. Now we thought that "Tolerating teachers in the classroom was much better than this work". Most of the people were disappointed with Reliance Power IPO. They had lost much more. Due to that Reliance money had to suffer. Well, till 1pm we used to be at the gate of Karvy, then after we were at BSNL office. BSNL office in Kanpur is the best place for passing the time in afternoon, especially for Sales people. Its reason is that there is AC and also some perspective customers. At BSNL I found some college friends who were in sales. They were also sitting there to pass the time. I tried to learn from them but there was nothing special. They told that “problem occurs in first 4 months then every thing is cool”. I met there with a sales person who was selling us Demat account from Kotak. I told him that we have same condition, even you purchase demat account from us it is cheaper than that of ypur. His name was Rajesh from Gorakhpur, ICFAI. He was reserve kind of personality and he had villagers’ accent. I taught him how to approach. (The teacher who got 0 marks was teaching others, Good!). At evening we reported to Jisu sir. He was disappointed. He again taught us with demo how to approach people and sell. He checked our contacts then let us go home. But what to do about those contacts we were not given anything to make them call. We were not ready to make calls on our own expenses. The company had many Phones but there was always absence of Charger.
Chapter 4 Pity days Next day Vivek had to go to Lucknow to pay Hostel fee. He left to Lucknow by asking Mr. Jisu, but I had to come to office. This time I was to suffer alone whatever happens that day. As usual in the morning i joined the training but that day I had decided not to go for selling alone. Jisu sir pushed me to go. Well I went but did not take it seriously. I approached to 5 people in 3 hour then went to Jisu sir. He threatened me to bring business within 2 hour. It hurt me. I thought this is wrong but there was no option for me. I was upset. In disappointment I did not put even my half effort. I visited some offices near the RM office but got optimistic possibility if getting business but did not get success. I decided that I will go to him late and by making weeping face I will tell him that i got optimism and bring the business within next 4 days. When I went to him then I found that he was worry about me that I should not do something wrong. When I did according to my plan he told me to return home with fresh mind. Next day Vivek came, I told him about the earlier day. He was also worried that same thing could happen with him also but told me not to worry about that because this time we both will suffer. This day Jisu talked to us politely. We surprised. Well, the day passed as usual. The failing session was going on the pressure to perform was increasing simultaneously we were becoming more habitual of failure. After some days Jisu sir told us to visit to customers separately so that we could make maximum visits. Well we did so but still did not get the business. We were very discouraged. While moving down the stairs I also fell down, it hurt me. It was a very much pity condition for us. When we were working separately then I had made the plan to choose a commercial building and the visit all the offices in that. This was good technique to be safe from the sun light and convince fair. There a test Cricket match was going on between India and South Africa. People were going there. I thought that today sir will give us ticket to go there so I reached earlier. But after reaching there the scenario was different. His first words were “How many forms you have made”? I surprised “when ever I meet him he always asking for Forms, does he eats and lives with forms? But what to show now “sorry sir”? He told us to Move outside the office and bring business. What a lovely experience it was! I was upset again. I went to Krishna Tower where we can see the cricket match very clear because it is just near the Green Park stadium. The whole day I visited only 5 people in the building and watched the match. The other employees of RM saw me and laughed at me that how I much obedient I was. When I reached office at evening, Jisu sir asked for Forms (business). But we had become shameless. By smiling we told about our failures.(Overall we followed his lessons in trainings) He irritated and told me to bring business from Home. This was unacceptable for me. I thought that Jisu is using me. I told to my father, he abruptly refused. The whole night I was thinking about the next day.
The next day came and I reached the RM office. After joining training class when Jisu sir approached me then without wishing him my first sentences were "My father is not ready to involve in these stupid investments". He surprised. He got that i was very much disappointed. He told i am not asking about that, be cool. He also offered me coffee. I think this was the first coffee in the office. then he send me with his another sales executive Mr. Anuj to go with him and learn the sales techniques. i went to him and saw he is going and asking for the customer whether he has any problem regarding the product or not. I got that "he is making me. He himself is not able to bring new businesses. Bloody Anuj"! Well I learnt that "In corporate everyone is making others fool and Anuj is also making Jisu Sir fool and Jisu sir could have making someone else fool. What a corporate!" At the evening Jisu sir did not tell us about the business because he himself knew the market condition. The poor performance was from the Stock Market performance & competitors who were selling the Demate Account cost 1 rupee. When we were going home we found Rajesh from ICFAI, again selling us Demat account. I recognised him & told to purchase my offer. He was much frustrated than us because there was a pressure from his college to sell. He had a Friend named Akhilesh Kumar Mishra. We met & wept simultaneously. Akilesh was dreamy person. He introduced me about the Bharti Axa life insurance company. He told me that he is very happy there. The boss is very kind & respects others. I thought why I should not join Bharti axa. I also thought if I don’t complete the target then I will not be given even the Certificate. I asked Akhilesh to join Bharti axa. He was ready to talk to his senior Mr. Ashesh Bhattacharya. Chapter 5 Joining to Bharti AXA As the days were passing the Training session was losing and the priority was given to sales. We had same routine, Visiting here & there & showing the smiling face at evening if we liked to report him then went to RM otherwise returned home without permission. The days were very tough and expensive due to hot weather. In the office the training session was closed after 10 days, girls were given tasks regarding operation to check forms & boys were given tasks to do sales. But there was a girl doing summer training under the guidance of Jisu sen Gupta, Named Vaishali from ICFAI kanpur. She met me on third day. we knew eachother from earlier because we were from the same CAT coaching. Despite being a girl she was asked to do sales and also she had pressure to do so from her college. (She poor) Well after 20 days in Reliance Money I joined Bharti Axa, where I found that the Guide is also from JIM but from Noida campus. I was sure that he will promote me and he promoted. He told me that I will get certificate in October. Well I had no objection. There were some other Project trainees from ICFAI those were Akhilesh, Neha, Alok, Mustafa, Ravi, madhukar and Vikas. Now the whole scene was different. Since the Bharti axa office is located in the just adjacent building so I was afraid that I should not caught by Jisu sir that i am doing summer training from two places. But certainly I was a real manager who contributed his efforts at two companies simultaneously. I asked Vivek to join Bharti axa but he refused. In the morning I stated joining RM then after 1 hour I passed my time in Bharti axa and did not reported to Jisu sir. He had also told to Vaishali, a summer trainee that there is no need to come daily. She should come if she had a business. When she told us about that we were happy that we got some freedom. Vivek used to pass his time in His friends' internet cafe and I used to pass my time in Bharti axa. Occasionally we used to go to reliance money when Jisu sir called us. He gave us many offers if we bring such and such business then he will show us movie and etc. Poor jisu sir! Vivek had told him that he has no interest in movies. During these days Vivek observed that Vaishali was Checking my strong prospective customers and used to note down the phone numbers. When Vivek told me about that I denied but later I found that this was true. Later I gave her the whole contacts because i was not worried about the target. I was not ready to invest for the customer while we were not given anything for expenses. The routine was going on same. I joined Bharti axa on 20th April, just after 15 days training from RM. In Bharti Axa again we were given the assignment to make calls to customers and make them advisors for the company. We had to call people in the office, introduce them to sir and convince them. There was no issue regarding the phone. There was full facility. Make call on 103 get water, tea, coffee, soups what ever you want. I was enjoying this job because we could learn about the culture in the office. I also made many long calls to my friends. It was a wonderful experience. I brought approx 500 contacts from my friend Ajay Tiwari who was earlier
working in ICICI bank. It was wonderful. Approx 20 people had given positive response about taking agents license from Bharti axa. This work looked me easier because I had to recruit people from the crowd of highly unemployment country. I thought that we can recruit people from any coaching centre. But the job was not easier as we thought. there were some tough conditions that the candidate should be married, graduate, and age should be above 23. Now the real challenge arose. It was really challenging because the government employee will not work, private employees dont have so much time, graduate person will always secure his future. We targeted to Professionals, Businessmen, Government employees, Boutique women etc. Ashesh sir had made the strategy to get people's contacts from Questionnaires. as we were MBA students so there was no problem regarding that. We used to go to different shopping Malls or markets to get filled the questionnaires. I liked the job but other members of the team were not eager to do so. I enjoyed because this job was easier than earlier work because now we did not had to go in the stark sunlight. Chapter 6 Introduction of God Gifted Ashesh sir was happy with me because i went office at right time and completed my task to fill questionnaire regularly. He charged other trainees but talked to me politely perhaps we were from JIM fraternity. after 10 days I realised that when i make calls to ladies then i get better answer. I thought why don’t I target to ladies. Even in the Auto rickshaw i had get filled the questionnaire fron girls who were intrested in joining the company. I also found that if i call people by changing my name as Anil Prakash Singh then people are more interested. So i changed my name while calling people. It was 2nd may 2008 between 5- 6 pm, when other members were reluctant to make calls i brought a list from Madhukar to make calls. After some calling i made call to a gentleman. but found something else. shet! It was a wrong number. A lady was speaking from other end. Initially I was disappointed that people give wrong number then soon i thought no problem we need people for the company why dont i try for her. Her name was Nikita Pandey, a graduate person, so why to leave the golden opportunity. She was going from Etawah to Mirzapur in the train that time and told me to make her call again on tomorrow 10 am in the morning. Next day I made the call to Nikita Pandey. Again shet! i was late. I called her at 11am. i took risk. i made her call. I offered her for job of advisor. i was speaking in English. She was not getting English completely but she pretended as she was getting me. She was in a beauty parlor. Annapurna Singh another lady who had forgotten to collect her goods at the beauty parlor handled the phone. she asked about my offers and asked thoroughly. I offered the same job her also. For that I asked about her bio data. i asked her education qualification, marital status and about the age she told me without asking. What else we needed, she was the pure target customer. She also told me that she is teaching in a school then it was exciting for me because she alone could complete my whole target. She was interested and asked my contact number but I refused. My routine was now same, the whole day making calls to people, if my mood says then visit RM, try to get some business for RM in the market and at evening Get questionnaires filled by people. The pressure in Bharti Axa was also increasing because even after 20 days i could not get business in monitory terms. Just days were passing. After 6th may i call again to Annapurna Singh for the purpose of Agent. I took telephonic interview to know her capabilities. She told me that she is a teacher in a rural place & preparing for MBA. I told her that I am also an MBA student and right now I am weeping, there is no job security. I suggested her to do the same job because according to her she was getting 8 thousands per months. But she was so eager to do MBA because she wanted to leave her rural surroundings. She was in hot and I was feeling cool in the AC office. She asked for my help. I thought that if I help her then certainly she will help me. For making a healthy relationship SMS can be a good way. and i had 2 send SMS to my friend who was continuously complaining me to do so. That evening she sent me some SMS, I thought if i do not send her SMS then she will not send SMS further. I directly told her “I can’t send you SMS, please don’t expect me because I don’t like writing SMS”. This was my blunder and she sent me SMS that she is not worthless person who
will send SMS to all the unknown people. I apologized from her because she was a key customer. Next day despite doing my daily routine, I made her call. She asked me to tell her about me. I was already a lier because I had told her my name wrong then leave about other things. It was very tricky. So except my name I told her every thing right. She asked about my cast. I surprised and asked why she is asking so. I dislike so. She defended on this issue. Her MAT exam was to be held near about on 10th May. Her preparation was not up to the mark. It was very poor specially language section. In this situation improvement was not possible. I told her anecdote not to make hurry, attempt from all sections & be cautious about the accuracy. She did so and got approx 70 percentile. She was happy but she did not know that it was a very bad performance. Meanwhile she asked whether I am from intercast or not. I did not emphasize on intercast. I wanted to say that I do not believe in these things and told her "No". Chapter 7 Friendship with the god gifted We became friend slowly. During those days due to Tea, coffee and customers callings many time I used to forget to take lunch in the office. I was very much worried because mother had many times stoped to give lunch and I used to be so hungry when I did not bring the lunch. It was a very good idea to give her task to just remind me because her class was scheduled at 2pm daily. She reminded and even forced me to take lunch. She asked about my family and about my girl friend. At that time I used to love Pooja Kandari (a Kanpur girl, living in B block- Shyam Nagar). But I was not able to express her. (Perhaps I did not get the chance and lack of courage) It was a one sided game. Annapurna empathized on this issue. She told me that a person should not involve in such activities. I agreed on it. We used to talk daily for 30 minutes daily in the office for a week. It could be 18th may when it was Saturday when we could not go to office because ICFAI students had classes in their college. On Sunday I was at Excel net (computer institute) when she called me at evening. I received the phone and it was so heart rending. She was sobbing. From her voice I got that there is some thing wrong to the other side. I was busy in talking to Customer at excel net and told her that i will call her later. After sometime i left to home by avoiding her to make call because of insufficient balance, again Phone rings, again it was her phone. I received her. My God! She was crying. I was not able to understand that how it is happening. She took the promise from me that I will not stop talking to her in any condition in the life. I was not getting how i can be so important for a person whom i have not seen. I thought that this village girl has not seen the world. Ok no problem; there is no harm in talking to a person. But I did not want that a person should weep before me and specially do to me. I thought that I have made blunder by making her weep. So I asked her to do promise that she should not weep due to me. If she weeps then she should consider her tears as my blood and my blood is not so cheap. This bounded her tears to a certain extent. Chapter 8 Cooperation of God gifted
We became a good friend. I clarified about my name. I was happy that there is some one who likes me because tears don’t come before any one; these come before closed one. I was ready to help her any how and make her successful although I was not successful. On Sunday I was at the outside of the home. My phone rings, no no… This time it is Shailesh. He informs me that I got back Paper in Finance while most of the students in the class are passed. I astonished because I had full confidence that I can easily get even the pass marks in any circumstances. I make strategy to work and get the back paper fee from summer training. My tough time starts. She calls me after the Shailesh. I was not happy but she recognized that I was not happy. She pressed me to reveal. I tell her reality. She encourages me to study further. Now on this issue it was only her whom before I could weep and express my feelings. My friends Shailesh, Nishkarsha, Vivek also helped me a lot by arranging books for me. Many times I was fearful that Annapurna should not be Devil who is talking to me on phone. (If rickshaw pullers have mobile phone then why ghosts are lying behind?) She had also same doubt but how a ghost can teach to children. So I was confirmed that she was not ghost. Once I asked her about my appearing, my dress. I surprised when she replied, every thing was correct as her reply. It again created about verification that she is a ghost.
But it confirmed me that she is a divine lady or some one near me is making me fool. In those bad times she helped me a lot. Near 20 may the pressure on me was increasing because I had not given any solid business to company. At this tough time it was only her who could listen to my problem. I told her how the pressure was on me. The duration of calling to customers was increased but the response was same. Ashesh sir had given me the last date 25 may and also suggested not to join insurance sector. I thanked for his suggestion. On 22 I told her to wish for at least two customers she wished and I got three big potential customers. I was not getting how I was happened. Sir told me to do all things my self. Perhaps Daily before entering the office I used to pray to god “O God! Please don’t let me do such work that can hurt to other people” that’s why I could not convert any strong prospect into customer. But it gave me reward. Because I knew that people are Using the summer trainees. They are not letting us learn some other varieties of works. Due to cooperation in rainy days the friendship had went to the stage of trust. We began to trust on each other. We use to talk a lot. In fun I used to call Annapurna as Anty ji. Annapurna did not like it but ii enjoyed a lot. Then I started calling her Mrs Anna. She was very annoyed from that. Annapurna objected that I should not make her wife of any other person. She told me that she is very worried that she should not be married to such person who is not good. She wanted to marry a personality like me. I thought “How I can be so good that a lady who did not see me likes my behavior then I thought she has not met me that’s why.” Later she stated calling me as a loving person. I was not getting what I had that she did like me. The days were passing on and I was getting more involved into her. Later she told me that a boy in her relative likes her and sends some SMS to her always. Since I did not wanted to enter between two people so I told her, “I will not talk to you this is not good”. I stopped to talk that day. At evening the phone rings in Sunday. (Guess! Who is this? Yes this is Annu.) Again same story. She starts crying. She tells me that she can not live without me. I surprised. When I asked about that boy then she replied that the boy is making one sided story, she is not interested into her anyhow. She requested not to stop the conversation in the life. I convinced her that I was doing for your good will. That nigh really disturbed me a lot. I thought I will not get better girl than her even in seventh haven, so loving and caring. I thought she have got so many marks that for appearance if she get even lower marks then she will qualify for me. But there was a problem that I wanted to disclose. From earlier conversation I observed that she believes in cast differences. I made a SMS proposal like this- “There is no doubt that we like each other but there are lots of differences between us like caste, region and many more. Despite If I say that I Love you then what will be your reply?” Her first reply was “hay ram aapne to meri saari jindgi barbaad kr di, ab mai kya kru?” I surprised what I had done that can ruin others life whom I had not seen. As it was night and I was sleeping next to my mother so I could not talk to her. She was calling me again and again. But I was not comfortable to reply her. I knew that she is weeping again but what could I do. I wrote her- “If you have any objection then no problem”. She replied-“Yes I love you I can not live without you. I knew already that you are from different cast due to your name.” but she again claimed that I ruined her life. And calling me again and again. I switched the mobile off and slept. Next day when I switched my mobile on then I found written- “I love you; I can not live without you”. I was not getting then she made me call and said that she had promised her grand mother that she will not do Intercast marriage. I written her message- “Our parents are superiors always, we can not forget them who care us from childhood. For our selfishness we will not hurt them”. I thought that we should stop talking to her otherwise I will be emotional. I decided to break the promise and stop talking to her. I neither made her call nor received and involved myself in customers. When I was in the way while returning to home at evening she makes me call. This time not as usual but with more loudly she was crying. She was mad about me, I thought which type of girl she is, I convinced her that I myself also don’t want to go against the parents. Their place is higher than that of God. She explained that she was always worried about her right matching, she prayed him always them I was found to her. I thought “Really God is great. It is wrong number.” Well she told that before marriage she will be always of mine. I replied ok we will always be a good friends. We will always promote our parents to Marry in future between us. If they agree then will be married otherwise we will only be good friends. She agreed. For more chances our marriage I told her
that we should gain more power by getting good job then our suggestions will be given more weightage.
Last 20 days of summer training After 31 may Ashesh sir was not coming to office because he was to join another organization. So we had not much pressure. There was no special work. If our mood says then we used to go to market otherwise simply sit in the office and talk to customers. But I found that the people in market are not honest. They postpone the meetings too much. I had some very strong prospects but I respected them and let them join as their own will and I think that this was my mistake during the customer handling. I should have given them some enticement or discount offer. Well the days were passing everyone in the office gave me respect while also I gave them respect. We the summer trainees had good contacts in the office and we were passing our time as we were the future CEO of Bharti axa. I entire day talked to friends on phone and enjoyed the Bharti axa. There was a Wi-Fi connectivity from unknown source for discontinuous time but daily. This was again exciting for us. Now free telephone as well as free internet chatting, orkutting. What a lovely days those were. We used to stay at the office till 8 pm. Means 10 hours job. I was sure that I will never do job for so late even in my working days. Reason was AC and facilities. Nice job, we use to go to office by wearing tie but getting nothing even a single penny. But we considered ourselves as CEO of the company. It was interesting to notice that whenever the internet was connected I did not talk to Annapurna. She angered on me that I was giving priority to my Lap-top rather than her. She many times wished “Kaash hum Lap-top hote to achchha hota, kam se kam aap to mujhe jyada priority deta” Uf! Mere lap-top se jalan! I told her “I love my lap-top more. It is wonderful”. Well she asked me about the right college to join. 70 percentile and right college? Impossible. I consulted many of my friends. They told me about some college but I was not satisfied. Preparing again for CAT was not a good choice. I asked from Rohit, student of Cosmic B School. He told me that his college is better & there is nothing to be worried about Admission. I also asked Sarvesh, student of GSBA, noida. His response was same as Rohit. I went to web site and found that many time GSBA has challenged to JIML in ranking. I told Annu (Annapurna) to join any of them. The date of GD/PI was adjacent. Myself and my friends prepared her for her final PI. When first time annu listend while talking me to Neha then becme angree from me. I clarified that she is only a friend. I let her talk to Neha. Neha told her about my good points. Since I did not want to disturb the working environment of bharti axa so I forbade everyone to tell anyone on this issue. This was a secret till I was in bharti axa. The employees in bharti axa were very co-operative, but the HR policies were poor. On 5 June Jisu sir called myself and vivek in the office. We were worried but went there. Vivek had told me that he is calling to award certificate, I went there but he sent us to Kidwai nagar new Branch office. Well we enjoyed there because it was a new branch. When we were asked about our business then we replied that each of us had brought 2 businesses in two months. This was real due to luck now due to special effort.
