NARROGIN TOWNSCAPE ADVISORY COMMITTEE
Townscape is not just civic beautification - it is much more. The aim of townscape
improvement is to enhance the living and working environment for residents and visitors,
while recognising the town's special natural and cultural heritage.
The Townscape Advisory Committee works with Council to achieve the following aims:
To ensure that Townscape issues are given due consideration and value by Council in its
planning, design, implementation and maintenance of the built and natural environment.
To provide an avenue of communication/consultation between Council and community.
To promote Townscape issues within the wider community.
To help retain places of heritage value.
To develop and promote the town's identity.
To enhance the quality of life in Narrogin by providing safe, comfortable, environmentally
sustainable and aesthetically pleasing public spaces.
